Older females want to attract younger males

Cuz females know guys do same

They feel guys won't date them

to make guys think they have had less sexual partners

Multiple reasons, but I think mostly because women understand that to a point, being younger equals being more attractive to most men.

The whole idea of women lying about their age is still semi-acceptable in modern culture, along with a man asking a woman's age being perceived as an insult.

I would say it's because women are more judged as time goes by. They don't want to be judged and they shouldn't be judged.

In some cases I think it's because they want to attract younger guys.
