Are women that uncomfortable using the bathroom in presence (not in bathroom but share hotel room) with a guy present?

Assuming you’re not in a long relationship, are women typically shy about using the bathroom whether it be to poop or menstrual care when guys are present. I was planning a trip with a friend to do an over night snowboarding trip and she was down. But when I suggested we do a 3 day trip because we off from work and could enjoy more time she was hesitant then said no. Later her friend tells me she was shy to use bathroom while sharing a hotel room. Figured she thought she could go just 24 hours without having to go but 3 days wasn’t possible. Do women seriously think we care or believe they don’t poop? Lol

Most people don't feel confortable to use the bathroom when someone else is present. We all like to have some privacy in such circumstances. For the girl you're refering to, the presence of a plain lock or bolt on the toilet door should have solved the problem.

That’s my logic. Also to note we have been friends for 10 years or so.

Even after 10 years of friendship we're not very confortable in the bathroom with anyone present. My wife and I were married for 38 years, and were very intimate, but still, although not a real issue for us, we still both left the other having some privacy in such circumstances, even if we did not lock the door.

Understood. Not saying being in bathroom together should be normalize even after being together or friends for a while. But closed or locked bathroom door while other person stays on bed in hotel room shouldn’t be an issue

Sure. Another issue still is when the bathroom is very near the place where another person is present. Ladies never like it when the most little toilet smell sneaks around. Ladies either don't like it when a guy goes to the bathroom immediately after them.

Very good point. I guess I’m just so care free in sense of bodily functions I don’t consider anything like this to be an issue.

That's the case of most men I guess ;0) In your case, if the bathroom is somewhere else than the room you're staying, for instance down the hall, the issue would be solved.

Bathroom has a door. Context is hotel style room. Bathroom and beds in same room technically or close by

That was my theory with anxiety but they never gave off that vibe. As I suffer from anxiety I never picked up on it but also never wanted to pick and pry

My thought exactly. I try to open and make everyone feel comfortable. Especially with simple bodily functions as I studied medicine originally and just stuff like this never phased me. But hope she will come around as we both weee excited
