Why would a woman love to collect doll?

A good friend of mine needed help with repainting her home. When I open the door in one of my friend's rooms I was shocked.

My friend she is 30 and I mean she had one room separate full of dolls and barbie collection. It was girly , My friend kept telling me to be careful with her dolls as some were breakable and to be really cautious.

I tough that was weird. Why would a 30 year old woman want to collect dolls?

I know a woman who still has her child doll. In fact, her Mom threw it away at 15 and this girl lost her mind. Mother went inside a garbage dumpster to find that doll. She still has it today but half of it is left. The wear and tear is showing now. Going to bury her with it too... is my guess.

See, I do, but only as investments or some years I will buy/resale some. I either do it for profit or my personal memorabilia collection that I will pass down to my daughter, which she can in turn can sale them at any time she's needs to. Other than my reasons, I have no idea either lol.
