Is it normal that I don’t feel like hanging with my boyfriend because I feel gross due to a super heavy period?

I don’t usually get very heavy periods but this month it is so heavy and if you’re a girl you know that periods smell very bad. I’ve changed two pads in less than an hour this never usually happens. I feel like telling my boyfriend that I don’t feel like hanging out today because I feel gross (and tired)

Im not unhappy when im on my period im still the same just more tired and self conscious because of the smell

As a guy, I'm aware when a girl has her period, and it's totally understanding and no a girl isn't gross on her period. Wish you well ((Hugs))

Yes, it’s completely normal. If I feel all gross and tired, I’ll just stay home and let others know I don’t feel well enough to hang out.
