It is true that people are attracted to their own race sadly if OP is from US his mindset is very American like.. they see things black and white. I’m from a tiny country in the Balkan Eastern European side and to be honest you can bring me a black looking guy ever and the whites looking guy ever I will still get attracted specifically to ———features———of an Eastern European man! I can’t help it. And I don’t own anyone an explanation. Yes they appear white but their —features— are very Eastern European like . Maybe something a black person or even a white person from US can’t tell the difference since they see things as black and white no (((flavors))) in there. It’s pretty common in American White communities to understand different ethnic heritages and to have different tastes in White features when selecting mates. It’s also very common for White people to marry people from their specific religious denomination, cultural/ethnic region in the USA, cultural heritage, socioeconomic background, etc. A lot of American Blacks find that hard to comprehend because they have no real heritage. All they know is that somewhere a long time ago someone in their family that they never knew was a slave and they don’t know where they came from. They know they are poor like most Black people. They are a monolithic group that depend on popular culture/media to tell them who they are. Thus they think White people are the same. Right now media is pushing communist propaganda so 90% of Black Americans are brainwashed into believing that nonsense because they have no roots and can't think for themselves. As a result you hear a lot of divisive comments like Blacks that don't support their communist goals are Uncle Tom White supremacist. Asians pass as Whites and all that Critical Race Theory bullshit. They act like a bunch of mindless zombie cult members.

Meanwhile some White Italian Catholic girl from Long Island or whatever wants to marry a nice Catholic Italian guy from NYC and carry on her heritage. That sort of thing happens all the time in the White community. Different people have different tastes throughout White America, but they often gravitate toward people they can relate to, that has common values, has some features that are common among their ethnicity because that's what they are naturally drawn to, the type of people they grew up around and feel comfortable with. It has nothing to do with racism (i. e. a specific race all having the same characteristics because they have that skin color and being superior to a different race as a result of it). It's because they are naturally inclined to be attractive to some set of features more often at surface value which leads to more interactions with those sorts of people.

It's the same reason why every single time there is a pole trying to market blond hair to people and convince the massed that everyone loves blond hair which is a relatively uncommon White feature, that the majority of people still pick brown hair. More White people have brown hair, and they tend to as a result find brown hair more attractive in potential mates even with all the money pumped into an attempt to try to brainwash people to like blond hair. It just doesn't work. People like what they like.

@Vegasrunner Based on your response though, I'm going to guess you haven't been with many if any girls whatsoever regardless of race. Median partners before marriage is like 7. The majority of people aren't comfortable with people that sleep around. When I was at roughly double that in high school they wouldn't even take my blood anymore at the blood bank because I was considered too sexually risky... So once you've crossed that line and started into higher numbers and you keep talking about it, well it tends to turn a lot of people off. About a third of girls will start rejecting you just because you sleep around and are a player... So if you keep on going you learn to shut up about how many people you've been with. There's no way you'd make it to a hundred and still keep blabbering about your number.
