I dont know if its most, or some or all women, But I have to ask, Why do women seem to be so obsessed with shoes?

Here is the thing, Im not even trying to be insulting, or put any one down. I just want to know why. Every single woman i have ever dated has had a massive collection of shoes, and goes shoe shopping frequently. Thankfully in my wife's case, as i am the one buying them, She tends to stick to sales. I have just never understood this behavior out of women. Can someone please explain the obsession over shoes?

I like them but I hate having lots of them.
I get having 2-3 nice purses… that’s about it, but they are all high end stuff. I don’t like plastic.
One bag for evening date nights. One daily outing. One grocery shopping. These last me about 5 years or more… then I get the next set…

I have heard some have like 20 bags and they are all over the place and they can’t find their stuff. I don’t get it either

shoes - same…I have a few very good quality shoes that last me 3-5 years.
One black, one brown high boots. One black, one brown Ankle boots. I pair of sneakers. 5 in the winter.
sunmer - 2 Sandals, flip flops. Sneakers, nice evening date night heels. - 5 pairs. For another 3-5 years.

I am a minimalist… I don’t like to buy junk. All my stuff are well made to last.

I can't really explain. Different shoes can change the look of an entire outfit, change my attitude from sweet to sassy or business or sporty, etc.

I guess it's like some guys love to collect tools or gadgets.

Along that same line. . . who do SOME women spend half of their life making sure their panties and bra match, and then they spend the other half of their life making sure that nobody else sees their panties and bra!

Yes! More shoes the better; and matching handbags as well. Gotta have um'!!!
The reason for me personally happened when I was about 10 years old. We had a five and dime sore a there was this white Iver the shoulder 👛 purse!!! Well, I just had to have it!!! I t was my first real grown up purse. Well, it made me feel grown up anyway. I love putting my little things in it and opening and closing it.

So, growing up, we didn't have much money because my dad though he didn't have to pay child support 😪. So, only one pair of school shoes.
As I became older and got a job when I was 16 I started buying a lot of shoes, especially sandals.
I don't expect you to understand why some of us are this way. But show me a purse or a shoe sale and I'm there!!!

For me its about the kicks, whether its athletic running shoes, trendy high top sneakers, or something as simple as converse in several colors. Its the most “style” i got. If i can afford it, why not buy it

No idea, same with purses and shit. The boots I have, have a set purpose. Combat boots, rain boots, snow boots and hiking boots. That's it.
