Does making girls jealous actually work to get them interested?

A friend of mine who I am decently close with and I were talking a lot for a while but over the past few weeks we hardly have. She'll snap me maybe once a day and won't respond when I text her (I have twice in the past couple weeks). I know she's on snapchat because her score goes up (like 20-30 a day) and she's viewed my private story without responding. When I see her in person though, we're flirty and have our usual banter. I know she's busier with school nowadays but I feel like she doesn't care about me.

Recently a different girl I barely know has expressed interest in dating me. I am considering going out with her a couple times and posting on my private story to get her jealous. I have zero intentions of being with Girl B for more than one or two dates. The only reason I would go out with her would be to make Girl A jealous. Would this work to get Girl A to talk with me more? And am I a bad person for doing this even if I treat Girl B well?

It works on pick me women for sure. But for women who are self confident in themselves it would actually make them dislike you a lot more and if you have to result to that then I hope she’s the latter because you sound immature.

Wouldn’t work on me. I don’t get jealous, if a guy decided to date someone else, I would leave him alone.
