This seems to work for me with Girls’ when I feel a girl is being selfish and not wearing my shoes like she expects me to wear hers , I will express my feelings of concern to her , and she more than likely gets upset and angry with me thinking I am trying to control her or she might say I am being insecure , but I clearly tell her , it’s none of that what so ever , I am just explaining to her my reasons behind why I am feeling this way, Almost Like I am giving her a lecture , but I am just making her aware of what I will and will not tolerate in a relationship if she wants to continue this relationship, if she chooses to walk away, I don’t stop her , but I will make it clear to her the reason I am being this way , but I won’t stop her from leaving , I don’t think I am being an asshole , even though it might sound like I am being one , I am just clearly sharing my feelings and concerns with her , So Girls’ does that turn you on when your man is actually right once in awhile lol. Cuz it seems the girl’s I have lectured come crawling back

Saying , Some guys manipulate and control their girlfriend or wife by telling her what she can and can not eat , telling her what she can and can not wear and how to dress etc. I don’t do that to girls’ I just pretty much treat her the way I want to be treated , but sometimes a girl will tell me what she wants me to do and I have no problem with it as long as she is following the same boundaries. If I notice her being selfish and not following the boundaries , I will put my foot down to her and make her aware of what she is doing and why I feel it is wrong , Most girls have a mindset that it’s ok for her to do certain things but not ok for her partner , so that’s where I draw the line , and will tell her my concerns and how it makes me feel , she will get bent out of shape about it but the truth is the truth

Here's the thing. If you feel like your needs are not being met, you ask her to sit down with you and you talk things out. You blaming her or she pointing her finger at you for making mistakes is not going to solve anything or make anything better.

If she refuses to understand your needs or you refuse to understand hers. You both are not ready to compromise or co-operate then the relationship is doomed.

So, just talk it out but express it in a calm way. Don't start with "You did this wrong" "You didn't do that. You should have done that"

Start with "There's something I need to talk to you about. Sometimes I feel (tell her how you feel) when she ask you why do you feel this way. Tell her as gently as you can so in case she's doing something wrong but is unaware she'd reconsider it
