Why is there so many cute girls with ugly guys?

I know I’m doing something wrong or I have the wrong attitude. Lately, like never before I’ve seen so many attractive girls with ugly average at best guys. They always say you’ll attract 1-2 points below you but here we are with girls that are 8s with 6’s and 7’s. Even worst 5s.

I often get told by girls and guys that they don’t understand how I’m single other than high standards. The girls that chase me I’m not interested at all, and the few girls I tried to talk friendzone me or straight reject me.

I live in a world where people tell me one thing but results say otherwise. Also in a world where guys who I’m according to people better looking than them, getting the girls I want. Last girl that rejected me, all my girl friends said that I was miles ahead better looking than her ex, but she friendzoned me. What em doing wrong?

which guys are you calling ugly the guys who you think are ugly probably aren't that ugly and the girls you think are cute probably aren't that cute

actions speak louder than words at the end of the day. if you are being called handsome but you keep getting rejected, there's a chance you really ain't that handsome and have been lied to because your results don't reflect your description

and since most guys are straight we're gonna automatically think the girl is more attractive than the guy anyway even if they are each other's looks-match and feminist empowerment via the body positivity movement has society thinking fat girls like Lizzo are hot too thus women's attractiveness tends to get inflated and men's attractiveness gets deflated

if the guy ain't hideous he can compensate with other factors such as height, money, status, lifestyle etc.

by hideous I'm referring to someone more along the lines of Joseph Merrick the Elephant Man, not someone like Jonah Hill

Well, clearly their partner finds them attractive. Looks can be very subjective. Also, you seem to emphasize a lot on physical appearance rather than other important traits that these men could have. When you get into serious relationship, look becomes secondary, it is just a first impression for all of us. It attracts us to get to know the person more, but their personality determines whether we stay or leave. Also, it could be that you underestimate them because you find yourself more attractive? While it is okay to love and embrace our look, but thinking that we look better than other people is a sign of narcissism. Just becuase we find ourselves atrractive, that doesn’t mean other people think the same way.

This reminds me of some guys I know, who get upset when I married to a guy whom they don’t find attractive. I find it to be odd that they think they are better than my husband when he is taller, cuter and wealthier than all of them. They are bascially inferior in every aspect, yet think I should have married someone better. Very strange.

For men, I feel like looks is what reel them in, but personality is what makes them stay (or leave). Whereas I know manyyy women both in real life and online who get teased for liking “ugly” men. However, I do think that looks are an important factor when deciding to let go of these men or not when they become unsure of them…basically the other way around for most women than most men.

Yeah it is odd seeing a couple who are mismatched in looks - either way. Some people age faster or better but in your age group that is not a factor.

I'd suggest you practice flirting with every girl - there is only one way to get good at it. Girls seem to want to know that you like them. Maybe the friendzoning is due to her not knowing. It is a numbers game.

Personality has everything to do with your questions, if they are hot or good looking it’s definitely a bonus.

As a man you should never chase women. Let women come to you. Then you can choose if you want her. Your question are indicating that you have a SIMP behavior and mindset. You need to change that. Also how can you define other people as ugly, that's a pretty messed up view to have? Are you better than them? It's not the outside look that define if a person is beautiful. You need to look inward in their soul.

Appearance is not the most important reason to date for many (maybe most) people. You need to be desirable as a person, simply being physically attractive is not enough.
