A few months ago I broke up with my long distance girlfriend because she kept seeing this guy. I told her it bothered me, but she said he was only a friend. The problem was she had no other friends, neither male nor female. She started gaslighting me and told me I was too possessive and jealous and I broke up with her because she didn't stop being in touch with the guy. A few days ago she texted me back and since she texts so much, I don't think she is with that guy. However, whenever she posts pictures on social media, that guy is the only person who likes them.
Was I right to break up with my ex if she kept seeing a guy?
