Why do older women have a problem with left over men dating younger women?

The guy is in shape, good looking, and said he never had a real girlfriend because when he was younger because he had to take care of his family. His father passed away and he started working at 16, went to college and worked two jobs to help his mom and his three siblings,; he only started making money when he was 35 after saving up and investing. He owns several properties now and is a commercial property owner that makes 50k a month in rent.

He never mentioned his girlfriend or boasted about her age. This woman just browsed through his IG and started shaming him, calling him a loser a groomer with no game that has to date a young girl because he is pathetic and that is why he never had a girlfriend.

She was 38 years old and single, wasn't bad looking but was being heartless and insulting to this guy calling him a loser for dating a younger woman and insecure with small dick energy.

she didn't even bother listening to his story of SACRIFICE, he said he never had time to date in his youth because he had to be a responsible, since his father passed away when he was 16, and his mom needed help. He put his family first and now in his 30s and is finally able to enjoy life and date. But for some reason the woman ignored all that and bashed him.

Because the older women feel the older men should be dating THEM. From a viewpoint of psychological commonality, that makes sense, but that's not a definitive thing- and it's not the main reason, which is, ultimately, jealousy.

Women's sex appeal is front-loaded; from a reproductive standpoint (which, for obvious reasons, is how natural selection works), it makes no sense to monogamously pair up with a woman past reproductive age, and little sense to do so with one who's nearing that point, so long as younger women are available. Of course, that's not the only reason people pair up, but it IS the root of what "sexy" is, and that's a big part of these partnerships.

As a woman ages, the visible markers of youth, health, and fertility fade, and so a woman aging out of her sexual prime is going to find her ability to attract men lessening. For someone who never had to worry about being seen as attractive in all her previous adult life, it's quite a blow; many go into "sour grapes" mode and conclude men not liking them are gay. Or, as it keeps getting worse, "pedophiles". It's a deflection mechanism and nothing but, but since you can't rehab your way out of aging, these women inevitably fall into one of two categories. First, the can accept the inevitable, and either lower their standards (much higher for women to begin with) or accept being single (this doesn't necessarily mean becoming a crazy cat lady, but it often works out that way). Unfortunately, this requires a level of maturity that the kind of woman who falls to sour grapes in the first places usually lacks, and our society does NOT encourage women to become more emotionally mature, so they tend toward the second: to fall back on social shaming, the only tool they have left at their disposal.

Either they call the men pedophiles, or accuse them of only wanting young women to manipulate them; both utter nonsense. Are younger women easier to manipulate? Probably- in SOME ways. Manipulating into sex someone who can get all the sex she wants, and fairly to extremely easily at that? No, that's going to be HARDER. The primary, and in many cases, ONLY reason a man goes for younger women is that it makes more biological sense for him to do so. His instincts point him towards it, just as women's point them toward rich men. Such a person may well be rejecting out of hand people who'd be better partners for them, but while a man will usually shrug and move on, accepting that such a woman isn't for him, women place great value in their ability to attract men, and use it as a form of social status (many women are mature enough to look past this, but again, that kind of woman isn't going to bring up how she doesn't care that she got rejected for a younger one; she'll just move on). Simply put, they feel entitled to men's sexual attention.

I appreciate exactly what you are saying and I experience this all the time because I have not gone out with a woman my sage since I was 25 , and why in the hell would I? I have absolutely no need to go down that path , I was divorced single , my children grown and all around the world , so I came to live in my true love Asia , where the options are a plenty , I've been here full time 5 years , coming for 25 years. When my two sisters came over to visit for a month ( and I told them don't bring Australian bs values here , they don't exist ) , I noticed a distinct attitude , of course no man in his right mind wanted them ( no matter his age ) and they seems extremely judgmental of everyone and everything , despite really loving my girlfriend , who drove them around and was showing them all sorts of stuff..

I think its the life cycle of the woman - Child / Fertile period / menopause/ Old age , they have a very limited period with a whole lot of power , but they don't realise how quickly that will change , and there is always someone better etc , when they can no longer ovulate they are discarded , this is a proven fact ( stripper make more money during ovulation ) so some subtle vibe exists , so then they see the younger woman , still in her prime , can reproduce , and they become jealous and annoyed that their time is up , so they take it out on the man they see with the much younger lady.

I've thought about this a lot , and I'm certain its subtle biology at work , throw in some jealousy , this is certainly what I saw with my sisters , and I of course get the same any time we return to Australia for a holiday.

Women especially younger women are generally voluntarily single or in a relationship because they don’t even realize how much power they have until it’s gone. And the old saying is a looks will fade but a shitty personality won’t. So some of these older bitter women (not all but definitely a fair number) find themselves in a horrible catch 22. They failed to acknowledge the power dynamic they had when they were younger was because of their looks. Now it’s gone.

by the way I have dated woman in their early and mid 20s when I was in my early and mid 30s. They weren’t bums either. They had jobs and were independent. I've found that older women seem to have a problem with older men dating younger women only in certain circumstances.

1. In some cases I think it's a motherly thing. Many women see the younger woman as a child that should be protected from the man. This isn't common but I had a friend my age who was dating a woman in her 20s and there was one older woman who was bashing him and said "that could be MY daughter!"

2. More common... the older women I have seen who go ballistic when you are dating a younger women tend to be women who never got married or are divorced, particularly if it was a nasty divorce. I'll leave it up to you to see why they might object to that, but seems pretty obvious to me.

I would be considered an ephebophile because I prefer adolescents 18-22 and the reason being is they rejected me at that age. I'm not going to go for women who rejected me now in their 30s. I'm also not going to give them a child or any girl a child because i am over 45. An 18 year old is more likely to get with me because of her age. Excuses for what? I date women of all ages and (because) I don't want kids. What or who am i making excuses for? I merely pointed out a fact, that as women get older they get less fertile, prezygotic limiting factors increase and complications arise at a higher frequency. Granted I didn't say it that explicitly but I thought it was understood, and since it's not even debated it's a known fact of any OB/GYN's first year of specialization and most of the western world. That doesn't change frequency of occurrence nor negate repeatability of data in a controlled study. Generally speaking if a man wants a higher chance of having a larger family spread out over ten years he shouldn't pick a 40 year old.

I know quite a few men that didn't have kids until 30-35. That's not uncommon in the financial world at all. One of my CPAs had his first kid when he was 38. I'm sure there's a great many 25 year olds out there that only want "to have a good time" as well, but that doesn't mean that none of them change their minds.

I'm being consistent in my beliefs just as you are yours. You said you don't like it when older women hit on younger men. I find that consistency quite admirable. I've dated women 25 years my senior, and while I don't think I've "dated" anyone more than 12 years younger, I didn't exactly ask for ID every time since she was clearly "of age." That said, I'm merely trying to not be a hypocrite, just as you've done.

I never said men don’t want to have kids at the age of 38, men of all ages are having kids, just a man typically more serious in wanting to have kids and marriage will typically go for a woman that is equally yoked to his goals. But hey I take accountability on my side but my ex did cheat throughout the whole relationship and was financially unstable which made me not want to progress anything on top of my age where I wasn’t stable either. if the younger women in question are barely legal or barely not barely legal its because its viewed as creepy and predatorial. not jealousy

if the younger women are like 25, 30, etc then it can be of two things, or both. 1) they think the guys are assholes who just want to use the younger person for sex cos you can't have anything in common possibly with someone so much younger, so its only the body you want (often it can be that though to be fair) 2) age insecurity

Last thing I knew a 21 year old is full of debt and daddys pays for her bills and has no career establishment. Me at 30 I have it all I managed to built wealth, own a house by the way its paid off and I managed to own a business now as far as I kno a woman in her 20s doesn't have all that.

believe it or not, people can actually learn to enjoy things that aren't from their current time period. older folks can be addicted to their phones and younger folk can still enjoy classical music from Mozart and Beethoven. at the end of the day as long as there's respect, there's nothing wrong with it. relationships built on superficial factors like jobs and careers rarely ever last anyway

b/c they don't actually understand life from the male perspective. Left over men who finally make something of themselves should enjoy any upside their new position affords them including younger women. I would encourage all men to exercise their options.
