Seriously are women generally complicated?

Ok I admit taking too much time to make up my mind. I knew what my then girlfriend (now ex girlfriend) has been desiring for 2 years. Understandable. She broke up after 5 years of being together.

Then when I tried going after her (my final attempt to stop from taking the plane), giving her what she wanted, the highest gift we can give to a woman... yet I still get turned down and it's too late. I tried. What more does she want? Tables have turned. She lost interest and I keep hoping she comes back one day and tells me I'm the one.

Seriously are women generally complicated? If they want something, they are verbal about it, might nag a bit and keep wishing about it. But then once they lose interest and aren't even upset anymore, then no matter how we try to make it up to them, give her what she wanted, she still says no and moves on. There is literally nothing we can do to make her change her mind, not even if it was her favorite gemstone and expensive.

There is a chance she may come back. I understand you were good together, but you were not ready to move your relationship to the next level. Now you are, so in principle the issue has been resolved. Best explain to her in writing how you feel and why you changed your mind. It's worth trying. You could use email.

Thank you. I still have some hope. My brother and friend suggested that she said no because she might be testing me to see if I really want commit or only did just because she was leaving, so it's now my turn to prove her I do really want it and she's taking her time now.

Thats not being complicated its called moving on u didn't do what she wanted so she moved on and after she moved on u tried to fix the issue but it was too late its a pretty simple situation

I've heard of a couple cases where the woman broke up but then got back with him sometime later, their relationship got stronger and they got married. This might sound stupid (I know) but part of me thinks I might be one of those successful stories of getting back with ex, of getting granted that last chance and be the man she always wanted back then.

I guess I keep thinking there might be some hope later on. Or maybe I'm crazy by now, pinning over her.

Once a woman emotionally and internally pushes you away, it’s very unlikely that you will win her back. Most men do this though - they will do what a woman has been asking only when it is too late and she’s ready to bounce.

I don't know what more to do. It really bothers me to think that I've lost her for good and she's going to find someone else, dressed in white dress and give the marital vows to someone else, have someone else's kids.
She can come back at any moment and the ring will still be there. I haven't returned it yet. So there is nothing I can do to get her back? Nothing that will make her say yes to me if I ask again?

Most likely, she won’t return. You waited too late and you most likely put her through a lot to a point where she doesn’t want to deal with it anymore. That’s usually how it goes. A man will put a woman through the ringer and then once she leaves - he feels the need to act right

I was thinking of giving it a bit time and then eventually returning the ring. I still have it in case she comes back.

Seems prudent. Set a reminder for 2 months and then if you haven’t had contact go and return the ring.

But as I said this is only about you and she is your ex. Better not to dwell on her and spend your energy moving forward on a project or something new

Ok I'll give it two more months. Yeah if she has totally moved on then I won't fight to win her back anymore. I've learned from my mistakes.
