Have you had to deal with toxic women?

I am not an incel (ew).

I am married and have a wife who is independent and self-made.

I have multiple close female friends in real life who I hang out with on a weekly basis. Some of my work buddies throughout my career have been women.

I support feminism and have done so ever since my teens... two decades long.

If I had to turn my blinders on, I guess I could say I agree with all or most women. But in my time in knowing many of them, there are several women that I have encountered that I do not like (there are obviously a lot of guys that I do not like).

These women typically are highly egotistical, immature, have double standards, think they should be treated special because they are women, have self-inflated egos about appearance, play popularity games, hypocritical... basically narcissistic behavior.

With the popularity of feminism these days... I found one such woman in one of my volunteer circles where she played the women/feminism card against me.

I am curious how do other women deal with such personalities? I am open suggestions by guys too.

Modern feminism can be a bit of a toss-up if we're honest. I just try to ignore the messages that come from the toxic part, or look into them with a grain of salt, and focus on where feminism and gender equality in general can do for the world. There are a lot of places on the planet where gender equality has a long way to go so I try to support feminism in that sense, rather than focus on the objective morality of how maternity leave should be applied to each parent or whatever topic we're on now. We're into the complex nitty-gritty of a lot of issues that I'm just not even emotionally connected with enough to care some days. Listen to the arguments, ignore the bile, and make your own decisions. Don't bother arguing with extremists.

Back in high school I talked to a recruiter from Embry-Riddle (an aerospace-focused uni in Florida) and she basically told my that if I got accepted I'd get a 5k scholarship just for being female. Would I have taken the money if I had gone? Yes, free money is free money. Did I appreciate the reason I would have gotten the money? No, I did not. I want my support to be merit based, I work really hard thanks. Do I get why the scholarship existed? Yeah, I do. I get what they're doing. It just sucks that that's what it takes to rectify historic trends and abuses.

Yes. I cut them off if possible. Otherwise I ignore them when I can and act civil if interaction is absolutely necessary.

Any positive image of feminism you may have ended with the "2nd Wave" of 50 odd to 60 odd years ago.

Yes, I dated one ( I didn’t know she was toxic at the time) nor did I know she was a narcissist until it came up online and I read up on it and she ticked all the boxes.

My family friends also toxic as well and tried to manipulate me a few days ago safe to say both are now gone, I don’t tolerate toxic people regardless of gender.

"I support feminism and have done so ever since my teens... two decades long."  two decades ago means you were at least 25 if not older do either you have been supporting since your mid twenties or how long you have supported feminism has been at least 26-32 years. 4th wave feminism is not about equality but trying to destroy guys. We will never be 100% equal. Biological females can get pregnant whereas biological males can not. Men overwhelingly out number women when it comes to electrical work, plumbing, construction, auto mechanics, fixing infrastructure, garbage pickup, farming, etc. A lot of females that I have talked to that call themselves feminists want to make the same amount as guys doing the same job even if the guy is working more hours. A lot of them want the guy to be 6ft+, make $100,000yr, be the protector, be nice but not too nice, be masculine but not too masculine, do the approaching, plan the date, set the date and time for the date, pay for anything that needs to be paid for while on the date, make sure the date goes well, be intelligent and smart, be funny, if we go for the kiss we want just sex and if we don't then we are a prude etc. They think women should be accepted by all guys no matter how they look, how feminine or masculine they are, if they go clubbing every weekend or not, advertise themselves as if they are single when they are not, their money is their money while the guy's money is for bills, unexpected expenses, the family.

Here's the problem. You say you are a supporter of feminism, but what you really mean is you support equality and fairness for everyone. But that is NOT what modern feminism is about. Today's feminist movement is toxic, divisive and anti-male, and any woman today who proudly proclaims her suport for the feminist movement is a shitty person. And yes, I have unfortunately had to deal with many of them.

Like most people today, I fully support equal opportunity and fairness for everyone, which is why I do not support feminism, and I have no respect for anyone who does.
