I read this all the time on here. A woman posts about how a guy says she's started to get kind of chubby, or she's got man hands or whatever. But this isn't limited to critiquing her appearance. He could fart on her, belch loudly, he could insult her friends he could say she's not very smart. Basically you get the point. He could be offensive in just about any and every way possible.๐And she's going to tolerate it. While another guy might not even say or do anything offensive or if so, mildly offensive and she concludes this guy just from that one instance alone is not a good man.๐
Basically they question why do women have this wildly varying set of standards.
By the way this isn't a complaint. I accepted this long ago as I think a lot of guys do. That certain guys are held to no standards and get a pass on everything.
Why do women tolerate everything from one man and nothing from another?
By the way I'm only curious to hear honest answers here. If you're just an anon pink posting to antagonize and just going to question my man card๐ I'm just going to remove your post so save both of us the time and effort.
To all the other women, I'm truly curious why you women think you do this.

this is how the Halo Effect/Devil Effect works
take Jonah Hill and Jeremy Meeks for example
Jonah Hill is now in the midst of the MeToo movement attacking him, calling him a creep, abusive, misogynist etc. the moment his ex-girlfriend spreads some negativity on him all because he's always been seen as an unattractive loser
meanwhile Jeremy Meeks is an actual convicted felon with a criminal record that includes violence, weapons possession, drugs, murder and other gang related violence but because he's physically attractive, women give him a pass, send him love letters and petition for him to be released out of prison and justify his crimes as being a victim of systemic racism even though Jeremy Meeks is blonde with blue eyes lmao.
