Don't girls ever approach guys?

I worked in a busy hotel for 1 year and thousands of chicks saw me. I am a 183cm, blonde, dark green eyes, not bad looking guy. But I am a little shy, and at first I look a little serious and don't smile. But I can make people laugh a lot with my jokes.

Anyway, this is not the case. In this one year, almost no girl came to me or approached me to get to know me. I know that most of the time guys have to approach girls and ask them out. However, working in a busy hotel, seeing 5000 chicks, and still 0 girl tried to ask me out or approached me, made me somehow doubt myself.

What is wrong with me? All my managers and coworkers think that I am a very good and non-judgmental guy at the same time.

Oh they do approach guys. However that by itself doesn't mean that they are interested in him a romantic/sexual way.

They do. But it's a rarity. The simple fact is most know they don't need to. It's about as common as a woman offering a guy sex and him say, "no, I'm good".🤣
