Is it weird I was talking to this woman with retinopathy and I really like her motherly friendly qualities?

So, long story short. This woman has retinopathy and blind in one eye. She is a devoted White American Christian and married woman in her 40-50s. She is gets treatment for her eyes 👀. So, from time to time she shows her eyes physical condition and many a times shared her eye photos. She calls her bad eye the Alien eye. Anyhow, whenever I talk to her she is really understanding and friendly. It makes me so much happier whenever I hear she got better and a little upset when she shares anything painful.

I know she is married to this man and is of course happy. I don't have that type of intention so zip it if anyone is going to say back off.

Anyhow I have developed this feelings for her. I can't explain it. It is like she is my aunt or long lost friend. And even though her eyes are going blind. I wish I could kiss her cheek and touch her face and near her eyes with my hand too. Her face is like my mom's face it reminds me of her (my mom is alive)😔. But I feel attracted to her like a friend. What should I do if it is not normal?

It sounds like you have a deep emotional connection to her and it’s normal to feel that way towards other at times. We are humans and made to get attached to others. However, you need to be honest with yourself and ask yourself if this seems to be leading to a crush. (Not saying it is just something to ask yourself)

Thanks, and no it's not a crush. But I think she is really a good personality. I don't really know her that much to be having a crush on her. Plus even if I had one, it wouldn't lead anywhere. She is married happily.
Do you think I think of her well being because of her eye disease?
