Just thought about how I personally don't wear a bra. Why? Because bras are for support... yeah well, don't need no funkin' support. 🙃 Anyways, so i remembered in target that little girls get these like little... bralettes? Or whateva'? And when in teenage hood, another but cuter bra. Then adult hood, oh you know what it is, you're an adult now and adults wear bras. But has it been this way so much that we expect every woman on this planet to wear a bra? I'm a wise goddess but it made me think... even from the old days of no mobile phones or corded ones... has it always been this way?

For those who don't get the question: Has bras just been a thing since the beginning for every lady? 1789? All the way from then?

I never understood how bras became mandatory attire. Is it due to marketing?

It's not like bras are worn for modesty. They are designed to enhance a woman's breasts, not conceal them. Think of push up bras, padded bras, or the old bullet bras.

Is the purpose to make boobs rigid? To prevent any jiggle, bounce or sway? Women's asses can bounce and jiggle, but NOT boobs!

Are they worn to conceal women's ultra pornographic (LOL) nipple points? Women can't conceal the fact that they have boobs, but any sign of a nipple bump behind fabric must be concealed, right? I mean, women can expose all kinds of skin and even have their asses hanging out, but nipple bumps? NO! NO! NO! They are so scandalous that women even buy adhesive nipple covers.
And photos of women's boobs can be shown as long as the nipples are concealed. What a joke. Why don't they do that with men?

I understand that some women need bras for support. There is nothing wrong with a woman wearing a bra if she wants to. And some bras look really good.

But I don't understand why all women, from the time they are old enough to wear "training bras" are required to wear them.

Why are some people so scandalized when they see a women wearing clothes with no bra beneath? "Look at that wanton hussy!"
And why are some guys so immature as to be unable to control themselves when they detect unfettered female chests behind garments?

I think it's absurd to require women to wear bras for modesty sake. I'm all for women wearing what they are comfortable with.

I think it was at some point during the 1800's... that the bra was invented, and for the most part it was to "liberate" women from the much more constraining and annoying corsets... lol

but, I don't know better but no... not every country or culture around the world uses/used bras or corsets

Well I need the support lol. And the bra as we know it today is quite different than in the past, but there have been forms of rhem fo a while, fo example corsets.

Oh yeaaah, i actually bought a corset from spirit Halloween. Jesus christ tossing a Caesar salad with ranch and blue cheese, okay, bra is better! Bra is better! Returned next day. Still ain't wearing a bra but I see why it was made in the first place Loool

I think it's more of a kind of modesty thing and a way to get those puppies lifted up higher so they'll be more visible and attractive. On one hand, it's considered slutty to have those things bouncing all over the place but, on the other, most womens' clothes are made to make your tits MORE pronounced and visible. How many guys do you see walking around with very low-cut shirts? Not even big beefy guys that HAVE big tits!
