So I had a coworker who I used to like and she clearly liked me back. However I lost pretty much all interest when I found out (from a mutual) that she started talking to another guy as well (probably a month or so after I started talking to her). Reason I lost interest being that I’m not gonna waste my time trying to win her over the other guy and deal with all the games that come with that, I’m a city boy I’ll be alright.
Anywho it’s been almost two months since I stopped acting interested, (I’ll still text her when she hits me up but I leave her on read the second it gets dry) and she still acts interested in me. She still hits me up about random shit, responds to my stories, drunk texts me, etc. I know for a fact that the other guy is actively pursuing her and I’m not. So why the fuck wouldn’t she just commit to the other guy who’s actually trying and not keep talking to the guy who isn’t showing the same level of interest? It makes no sense to me and it’s getting a bit annoying

i shit test guys unconsciously and I like to keep my options opened, and I have experience of guys losing interest or shutting down just because I’m talking to another guy. Doesn’t mean anything.. you’re still someone I’m interested in, and possibly just as interested in you as the other guy. I understand your emotions so don’t give up but don’t wait for her. Do you. Date. Go out, meet new people.
