There’s a difference between looking like a not looking like a model without makeup and looking sick without makeup though. My point is if she isn’t gaunt ugly and horrendous without makeup who cares if she looks different?

I understand, you're saying that it's about men caring about makeup making woman look different in general. For me, it's all about not poisoning skin with toxic makeup, so brand choice is important. That said, wild colors can look great. I suppose it's about subtlety, having soft transitions and a light coating rather than looking like paint.

Then you’re definitely not the men I’m talking about. Some people are super earthy and really value natural products and what they put in their bodies. That’s totally respectable. In that case I totally agree you should find someone who aligns with your beliefs which would most likely be a woman who wears very little to no makeup.

I’m mostly speaking about men who act makeup is a crime because they feel women are trying to trick or trap them. Or men who believe instagram models are all natural and compare everyday women to them.

I see, you meant men who treat makeup like it's a tool for deception. I'd say deception requires an intention to mislead, and therefore men who assume that women have such an intent are those who feel threatened, even if only to a small degree. Makeup does give a different appearance, so in a way it's more open to wear a more vibrant lipstick and/or eyeshadow, which is obviously not the natural skin tone. One could be tasteful about it.

Of course but If she’s a 10/10 with makeup and does her makeup everyday, you find her attractive and you like her personality. Why does it matter what she looks like without. Isn’t that shallow?

I’m not saying megan fox to plain jane. But more like an average attractive woman to plain average because honestly most people aren’t dating super models same way most men aren’t brad’s pitt. So maybe a 6-7/10 looks wise but if you really like her personality that number shouldn’t be less than an 8

Personality is just as important as appearance, but a bit of a question.

If you have a man that most if not all women agree he’s a 9-10 and he’s with a woman that is a 9-10 with makeup but without it she isn’t, you don’t think that’s off?

For context, would you think it’s fair if the girl was a 9-10 with makeup and was with a guy that is 6-7 when she also is a 6-7 without makeup?

I don’t feel relationships are fair. You date who you love. No one should bat an eye at a man dating a more attractive woman same way no one should batt an eye at an attractive man dating a woman who wears makeup.

I’m not saying men should date women they aren’t attracted too but I’m saying why claim women are superficial and judge women when men hope women see them for their personalities and find them attractive too.

Relationships should be 50/50 and let’s be honest. It’s not just men that have aesthetic standards. Women do too

I’m not sure where you are meeting couples that are exactly looks matched? A portion or women I know date men significantly less attractive than then same why I know men who are dating less attractive women (Although I’ll be honest I see more of the reverse than I do that) Also most women would not be good judges of what a proper looks match is for them making that virtually impossible. The world isn’t fair no one goes by numbers in the real world.

Go outside. No one is deserving or a person of a certain caliber of looks. money, status etc , you are only deserving of love. Most people don’t operate on compensating and matching everything. People generally like people out of personalities. I genuinely wonder whether the men on gag are real. I’ve never met anyone who dated or have myself dating anyone who viewed relationships this way. Do you not meet people as simply like them?
