This happened to me. I met a nice Asian girl in front of the hotel in Poland, she was a Formula racer, we clicked and became friends. We used to travel around together, she always carried second coat with her, just in case I felt cold. I thought that was very friendly. She was also very sweet and protective of me, which seemed a bit weird coming from a girl, but I figured it was just her personality.
Her route was also to China. We went to China together and she wanted to move in my city, was looking for jobs and apartments there and stayed with me for 3 days.
On her 3rd day, when she got a job, she said she would decide whether to stay or not. I shared my bed with her, last day of her stay she asked me if I like girls… Because there’s a girl she likes and she’s not sure if she feels the same…
I told her I don’t like girls but I support her decision to pursue romantic relationships with girls and she can always consider me as her friend.
After hearing that - She turned down a job in my city and went back her home city next day.
She would sometimes drunk call me and tell me she missed me and that she loved me.
I said that I missed her too, cause we were friends and I didn’t really think she was interested in me any other way.
But we grew apart slowly. The other day she messaged me again and as we chatted she sent me her old photos, where she obviously was a boy. I couldn’t tell that as Asians have the least noticeable body and facial dimorphism. .
I would of course still be friends with her, but I feel silly I haven’t noticed that in the past, especially that she spent 3 nights in the same bed as me.
