Why do girls not like when their boyfriends like or follow girls that post “thirst traps” when some of these girls post thirst traps themselves?

Men watching that stuff is them lusting after other women. The women posting are simply just posting it (sometimes for attention). Wanting to receive attention and lusting are different things. I wouldn't say I've ever gotten any sexual gratification from posting a pic

I am not sure if i post thirst traps on my IG or not but i would never like if my boyfriend liked photos of other women.

My ex never did even before meeting me he just doesn't like stuff on social media in general. He only likes photos of people he knows and they know him. And yet even then he never liked photos of other girls even he knew of only maybe his friend's girlfriend's. But yeah, those girls have double standards i guess? Because i don't get other reasons.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this at all, in fact I’d say this is the most mature way to see it. Because I’m aware girls look at guys they find attractive too even if they aren’t their boyfriend.

Let’s just say I dated a girl that continued to post thirst traps after we got together, it bothered me. Cause I knew guys were sliding in her dm’s I literally saw it, to make matters worse she was responding to some of them.

Messages like the guys hitting on her and asking her what she’s doing on the weekend.

If I did similar behavior she’d get pissed (rightfully so) so then that says a lot about her behavior. If the behavior of your significant other bothers you, then you shouldn’t do it. Period.

And I see so many girls doing this too, it’s depressing cause I know this is why relationships are down, hookup culture is up, and a lot of these girls take to social media bashing men without being realistic and reasonable.

I’m not saying it’s only girls that do this though, I’m very aware there are guys that do the same. Slide in girls dm’s when they have a girlfriend, it’s really simple. If you cannot understand what comes with being in a committed relationship? Then don’t be in one.
