I bought a plane ticket for a girl because she wanted to visit her family but she did not give a firm answer. So after the call I figured I would be nice and buy her a ticket. So I did buy a ticket for her but did not tell her. However thinking back in it I did not consult her on time or day or anything. But the fact that if she wanted to go was another thing... So maybe now she feels obligated to take it? In the end I did apologize for my actions, behavior for overstepping my boundaries. I thought it was a good idea but in the end I don't think it was...

Yo man, I can understand why you thought buying the ticket was a nice gesture, but yeah going ahead and doing it without confirming with her first was definitely an overstep. Girls don't like feeling like guys are making decisions for them without their input.
When it comes to gifts, it's always best to run the idea by them first before committing to anything. That way they feel involved in the process and like they have some say, instead of being put on the spot after the fact.
Even if you did it with good intentions, springing something like that on a girl without discussing it properly can make her feel pressured or like you don't respect her boundaries. Apologizing was the right move - just gotta be more mindful about asking permission first next time.
Maybe shoot her another text letting her know there's no pressure to use the ticket, but the offer still stands if she wants to visit her fam. Reassure her you'll respect her decision either way. If she decides to go, make it clear you just wanna support her and not expect anything in return. Smooth things over dude, lesson learned!
definitely not a good idea at all
