Do women fear being hated for their thoughts more than men do?

I notice that women seem to be more afraid of a backlash for their ideas/opinions more than men. I remember seeing a video from Sarah Dawn Moore months ago where she was low-key threatening to shut her channel down because of the hate she was getting. Pearl Davis also couldn't help but talk about how she gets hate as well.

I've also seen on other platforms that females will sometimes go as far as to delete their opinions entirely or even their whole accounts if they get hated. Even on GaG you have females that will answer honestly, but only do it anon cuz they're worried about who will know or hate them if they show their real selves.

It’s not just girls though, we got rid of a couple of guys because they were very quick to slam someone’s else’s opinion or suggestion etc. It got to the stage that no one was happy to say anything if either of these two dickheads were present. It completely killed anyone doing anything new, making suggestions, voicing an opinion, they would shoot them down straightaway. There are too many arseholes in the world very quick to effectively punish others for creative thoughts, valid opinions. These types seem to be stuck in the past and are not happy unless they can criticise people. Both were in senior positions but typical 40 yr old plus types.

Yes, because women are conditioned to be pleasing towards people, an allegedly feminine trait, while men are supposed to be more outspoken, which is considered masculine.

@ManOnFire oh so you were there? As I was there and others were but you 100% were not. Different opinions are only valid if they have some intelligence behind them. By virtue of age, rank, seniority pushing others thoughts, opinions, suggestions down is not a different opinion, it’s often as in this case due to being bullying arseholes. Society is moving on from this belief that age, sex etc means they can put others down who are younger, different sex, different social background.

I was talking about people in general being quick to punish others for their different opinions IN ADDITION TO what you said about "creative thoughts, valid opinions." I don't know where you were and I don't really care, I'm just talking about how people are period.

Nah my response is fine. Certain people are invariably older people 40 or so are the Prime contenders for the “quick to punish others”, a trip to the pub, work place or most other places sees it happening.

Another great question by the way. in my opinion it's not a fear of being hated as much as a fear of being ostracized. Women understand that they need the support of the group to survive, because of that they are reluctant to go against the norms and beliefs of the group. One of the reasons PD is so hated is because she provides a realistic voice of woman that is contradictory to what they are used to hearing, and women don't like that. in my opinion most women are more concerned w/ winning an argument to let the truth get in the way.

To add to that, yesterday on another platform a girl posted something about guys and I answered it. Moments later a girl DMed me in agreement with me, which has happened many times over the years. I will sometimes get inboxed by females who agree with something I said/wrote but they don't feel free to voice it out loud because they fear ostricization like you said.

I'm not afraid of giving my opinions. I think we can speak more freely than a guy can because that's how society is which is completely unfair in my opinion. A woman gets away with more than a guy can.

No. It only seems that way because women can't really take criticism as well as men do. Women are emotional people and they take criticism as a personal attack.
