Guys: when a girl gives you her number randomly, do you find that attractive?

Guys: I'm just wondering if a girl gives you her number without you asking for it, would you call her?

In July, I ended up giving a guy my number. We had been flirting every time we saw each other for seven months, and he asked my brother if I had a boyfriend. It was also pretty normal for me to take him cupcakes every few weeks, so on the fourth, I took him a bag of no-bake cookies and stapled a piece of paper with my number to it.

Sadly, he never called. Whatevs though, the other night when he saw me, he asked why I didn't bring him cupcakes anymore, and I told him I was through with that. I also stopped going to the store he works at as often.

What I don't get though, is why a guy would flirt and ask if I had a boyfriend, never call, and even now when he sees me he still turns beet red, touches his face a lot, and lately his best friend seems to know everything about me and anything that happened while Jake (the guy I like) has seen me, and Josh (his best friend) wasn't there. Yesterday, I went by the strip mall he works at, and he came out on break and stood at the front of my car grinning like an idiot for two full minutes before waving goodbye.

lol there's a reasonable explanation behind why he hasn't called I'm sure. It's so hard to read what a person is thinking! sometimes I wish I could read minds ya kno!? lol well thanks for your story, and I hope he ends up calling you or that you figure out why he hasnt.

There was this cute butcher at the grocery store I would go to and the butcher and I would always make eye contact and always look and smile at each other. We talked a couple times, but I was always real shy, so I didn't talk to him as much. One day I decided to bring him a piece of chocolate cake I had just baked, he knows I like to cook, and I gave it to him, and then handed my number to him, then walked away. I heard back from him within a couple days. Things felt different though, after I gave him my number. I don't know but it was, he didn't seem as flirty. I really regreted that one. I saw him the other day and we both smiled, something felt different though. I know it's pathetic but I always get kinda sad when I think about how it was before I gave him my number..hmmmph

im a dominant person, so I'm usually the one who makes the first move... and most guys like it. I met most of my guy friends from me chasing them because I thought they were attractive. and I have several great friendships because of this...

there are only 2 results that could happen when a girl gives out a number.. either he calls or he doesn't. ..i met a great guy, my current boyfriend, this way. I met him at the bar, and we hit it off great... I gave him my number, expecting him to be so drunk and never call or remember... but lucky me. he did!

Oh, I tried lol. this is the first time I've ever given a guy my phone number without him asking for it. needless to say, he never called. I finally went up to see him again and he said "wow, I don't really know what to say" lol it turned out he had a girlfriend. so I told him I respected that, I thanked him for his honesty., and went on my way. thanks for the advice! :)

i'd be incredibly amazed as suspicious that a cute girl just gave me her number, for some reason people just love to mess with me and tease a lot for some unknown reason so I wouldn't get my hopes up really at all, but I would give it a shot like once every 3 days for 2 weeks to see if she actually answers before giving up. If I don't get an answer or a reply then my confindence goes way down because I know that once again I've been f***ed with again, if not it goes way up because it would be the first time a girl has shown interest in me.

I remember I would always flirt with this guy at this gelato spot, they never had this flavor I wanted, so one day I gave him my number and I said call me if you get blah blah gelato. He called me that night haha.

If I thought she was a clean, fun, and interesting girl then I would be OK with it. I am not sure I find it attractive nor unattractive. I actually enjoy the chase so that is not my ideal way to "get" a girl.

yes I do find it attractive but make sure to answer the phone, don't just give out your number and not answer just to let the guy down easily, because I hate being teased, lead on like that
