Is it true women are becoming more bold to make the first move with men they like when the guy is passive?

I can’t say based on my experience that it is or isn’t true but I want to see the general consensus if this is a cultural change amongst women given as a guy, I can definitely say men have become more reclusive to trying to initiate contact with women they find attractive.

I'd just say semi-true and maybe only quatra-true or even octo-true. Women take rejection a lot worse than men as it impungs their beauty and attractiveness.

You know what though? In couples, women have for a long time maintained they made the first move while their man has firmly asserted he did.

Both these assertions can be true at the same time however. A women might consider herself as signalling her receptivity to a specific man and he might ask her out as he is getting a good vibe from her. This might not even be a conscious thought in either of their minds.

I have been asked straight out twice; one of them was on the street. But girls are clever. They can make it positively ungentlemanly for you not to invite them or they set up an opening that you could drive a Mack prime mover through... should you wish to.

I've used this example before. After some idle chatting about movies, a girl told me she wanted to see the current blockbuster action movie X but "none of her girl friends wanted to". What could I do but ask if she would like to see it with me? She had already told me she was single and needed a man.

Did I make the first move? I think she did.

I only experienced that maybe one time recently, and it was from a 50 year old insisting woman.. But from most women? Nah, especially if they're younger they'll just look, and sometimes stare, and give compliments but never approach and be forthcoming.. I did notice that some women will slyly try and at least gauge whether you'll ask them out by maybe asking where they can buy something and lingering around for a bit..

I think guys think about hooking up more than girls do, so I still think most of the time it will be guys making the move,

but the good thing is that now it’s not that big of a deal if a girl wants to make a move, at least in the United States it’s totally fine…

I think Muslim and conservative countries are still backwards as fuck and repressed, which makes the guys toxic and the women repressed, but I’m talking about the free world

No. Women in public local to me all I’m have their faces buried in their phones. Lately I’ve been more into cold approaching again, and women lack social skills, they’re socially awkward, and are either insanely shy or act like they’re not interested due to anxiety.

This is only my perspective on real world situations. I can’t answer for all women obviously. But my answer is no they’re not getting more bold. If anything being social with others is getting less and less.. because they’re getting gassed up by simps on social media, so they carry that stuck up “I’m popular” mentality everywhere (just because they gained a few followers online)

I think it's a mixed bag. I think it is certainly more accepted for a woman to make the first move than in the "olden days". But if I were still available, I wouldn't bc I needed a guy who wasn't passive. I would let him know if I was approachable for him to make the first move.

Overall it seems flirting happens less and less.

I do feel like girls are more likely to be a little more obvious with the "signs" then a couple years back as we know now men are scared to end up being threatened by an S. A complaint for making the first move.

Aggressive women will but they're in it for themselves generally. Less attractive but confident women will BUT they won't like that the guy is passive. IF he's just oblivious then the passivity may disappear and she'd be on to a winner but although it's happened to me, I don't think most women are all that fond of taking the initiative.

If a man is high-value (has proven himself), women make the first move. If not, I haven’t seen women around me initiate first. If they like him, they might glance at him occasionally, but they mostly wait for the man to take the step. In a way, this is a confidence test for the man.

Not necessarily. I'm definitely more likely to make a move on a passive guy rather than a more assertive guy. But overall, I'm still pretty timid about making the first move. I prefer if the guy initiates it.
