Socially it's acceptable for women to show their emotions, for men it isn't. So, women are more likely to be emotional openly then men. Think about it 9 times out of 10 when a man is being emotional in public what was the emotion? Anger, because anger is associated with masculinity like being angry someone hit on your girlfriend, so you clock him.
As long as a man has a justification for his anger it's the one emotion we can show, and it be deemed natural. When men cry though that's interpreted as weakness so we don't do it in public and it's also why we don't feel like we can share our thoughts or emotions. They make us feel like less of a man because of societal norms and pressure.
Women on the other hand don't have that pressure in fact they have the inverse. When people see a woman in tears people flock to her to provide assistance. This is one of the reasons I think women need self-defense tools and training.
Just because a man is stronger doesn't mean he's guaranteed to win. There are entire martial arts based around taking down opponents you're weaker than and a woman doesn't have to win a fight she just has to get away long enough to scream for help in public. People will come running immediately in most cases.
I've heard multiple women say things like. "Stun guns are useless if I'm attacked by a man he'll use it against me. 1. at that point by your own logic, you're already fucked and it's going to happen with or without it so you might as well have it. 2. If you're properly trained and know how to use it, it's not a liability it's an equalizer. Please ladies at the very least get pepper spray.
Also, biologically it's a fact to some extent that women are more emotional just because the get periods and go through menopause. It's a documented fact that it cranks up their emotions because it messes with their brain chemistry so there's also that.
Then finally I'd say historically women are the care takers and nurturers of the offspring which requires giving emotional care and emotional care requires emotional investment in turn. Basically, since women historically raised the babies the emotional bond between child and parent was primarily the child and mother since the men would be away at war, hunting or working in the fields.

im talking about men saying that we’re the emotional gender, when its obviously them.
i think u missunderstood my question bc there's no need to respond with an essay to a 9 word question. - 8 mo
You're right. You know how on the discover feed they show the title but not the text bellow, but they let you respond there anyways? That's what I did I didn't see there was subtext here. Also there are a few answers to that question.
Also "Awful things" Is very broad and I'm always skeptical when a woman paints herself as the victim but provides 0 context.
1. Some men just like some women are fucking assholes.
2. Men get rejected a lot probably on average anywhere between 5-10 times for each yes they get and the ratio is even worse for some. Getting rejected hurts and the damage stacks each time until any desire to even try gets beaten out of you. A lot of guys get frustrated because they're sick and tired of getting shot down with a hand wave over and over and some of them snap.
For most of them they just stop trying to date entirely some of them get angry and that's what you're experiencing. That said you didn't provide much context on your end. Sometimes when a man treats a woman like crap, he has a reason. Did you reject him impolitely or sleep with someone else he knew?
Don't get me wrong this could just be him being a jack ass but sometimes women deserve to get called out and have consequences for their bullshit just like men do. Trust me If a woman hopped in a man's body for a day and ran her mouth like she would as a woman in that man's body, she'd be black and blue by the end of the day in a lot of cases. - 8 mo
yeah i didn't feel like saying all the awful things but ill give u some examples: so there's been cases where women who rejected men have been killed, raped, followed home and such. i saw a woman got her tires cut bc she rejected a man, and thats not even all.
js bc they’re hurt doesn't mean they get to do stuff like this to innocent women.
the only men I've rejected, i dont even know and dont have any connection with so no. and this isn't a personal question just in general.
a woman can do wtv she wants and the man has no right to assult her. she can go sleep with his buddy, rude maybe, but a motive for assult? hell no. get over urselves. - 8 mo
I partially disagree there are 3 situations where it's acceptable to hit a woman.
1. They're assaulting you.
2. they are sexually harassing you physically.
3. They cheated on you when you've never been abusive emotionally or physically to them.
I never said those things justify assault or rape I just said that if woman didn't have the same defense of "It's wrong to beat women." stopping a lot of men from hitting them then they'd get beat a lot more for the things they say. There have been dozens of times where my mother called me something I'd have punched my dad for if he said it to me.
But I don't hit her because she's a woman. If my dad had said those things I'd have clocked him. Women talk a lot of shit are often rude and impolite and given your bratty behavior in these posts I doubt you were as nice as you claim. Also, I've seen plenty of women slashing tires and keying cars over things like this, so this isn't a man issue this is a people in general suck issue.
But no women don't have the right to do whatever they want and can't be hit for it. I agree you need a stronger justification to hit a woman than a man but there are a lot of people in this world that need to learn a lesson that can only be taught with a closed fist and that's not exclusive to any one gender. - 8 mo

it really isn't tho. do you know how many violent men that exist in the world?
did u know that men in the uk hit and assult their wives a lot more when their favourite team looses?
Opinion Owner8 moYes, men are naturally more prone to violence than women. But in every day decision making, it's a well known fact that men are more pragmatic and women more emotional. That's why women love to be given flowers while men see it as an utter waste of money. That's just one example.
- 8 mo
that literally makes no sense.
and did you know anger is an emotion? men kill women bc their favourite football team looses a game, wouldn't that be emotional?
yet men complain ab not getting them until their funeral, not everyones the same.
Opinion Owner8 moIt makes sense to anyone who thinks rationally. Like I said, some men have anger issues but they are uncommon, despite what you seem to think. Almost all women make emotional decisions day in and day out.
- 8 mo
what kind of ”emotional decisions” do u mean?
8 moBecause men aren’t allowed to cry, and women are because they handle the bulk of the emotional labor in a relationship.

its 2025 they can do wtv they want nowadays, they can't still play that card

The generations before us that taught us the ways of the patriarchy are still alive, and so they still bear influence whether you wish they did or not. Grandma wasn’t allowed to have a job or a bank account, and she’s still here. This wasn’t that long ago
- 8 mo
yeah but now she is and guys can cry now
- 8 mo
The women who can change that influence are NOT the majority population, so that will take a much longer time
- 8 mo
sure, but women aren't really the problem. men are the problem, as usual
- 8 mo
Yes, but you see my point that too many people who remember the time before women’s rights and live by that standard are alive and have too much influence to make any real changes, right?
- 8 mo
yeah, then make a change
- 8 mo
Yes, after they’re all dead and our generation is the oldest

then kill them
