I had a dream about my ex last night. What does this exactly mean?

I had a dream about my ex last night. He wanted me back and then we hooked up. He said he missed me and that he was so glad that I was back with him and that he made the mistake of letting me go. I was happy and relieved then I woke up. I Haven't seen my ex for over six months nor have I talked to him. I just saw him a few days ago but didn't recognize him because my roommate told me later she couldn't believe how well I took seeing him for the first time. I didn't know it was him so therefore I wasn't shaken up. I found out that my ex still thinks I want to stalk him and that he knows I am not over him. So what does this dream mean? I am not dating anyone so it isn't that I find qualities of my ex in the guy I am dating...

Ps peoples please don't tell me to get over my ex OK it doesn't help tell me what the dream means and why my ex is acting the way he is today OK?

I mean, he hasn't even reached out for you.
