Why does she act like I don't exist?

About a month and a half a go I ended up staying at a female friends house after we had been to a party. On the way back to her place she was holding onto my arm and talking about loads of random stuff, when we got back to her place she offered to share her bed with me but as I wasn't drunk and didn't want to make things weird between us I turned the offer down and went to the spare room, around 10 min later she came into the room and climbed in the bed, but we didn't do anything.

The next morning we went out to get breakfast and on the way back she asked why I was trying to stay away from her as I wasn't walking close to her, when we got back to hers she asked me to leave. Since then she has blocked me from everything and refuses to answer my calls or text messages.

I'm kinda stumped to what happened, I've know her for around 4 years so I don't get why she would act like I don't exist anymore.

The other answerers pegged it, but I would like to add that not all girls (that I have known) interpret this as rejection. Some women feel a need to climb into bed to be accepted by men, which is a result of an emotional insecurity of their own.

I once slighted a girl who was into me and she said she would never talk to me again. I said there was no way that would happen because nobody could be so harsh over something so small. Well guess what, 20 years never heard from her :) I think she did it just to prove me wrong because had to be right. In a way, I think she did me a favor :)

So yeah man, don't take it hard on yourself.

Let's hope she doesn't end up ignoring me for 20 years as I actually liked her but she was just too drunk at the time. :)

Easy solution then man. Tell her you like her, and you are sorry she felt rejected.

But you're not climbing into bed with her until you feel ready. Problem solved.

She feels rejected, you ignored her advances and she her ego is bruised. Personally, at the very least, if there was any kind of attraction for her, I would have held her when she came to my bed. She's hurt man, and probably being vindictive right now.

She wanted you to be close to her, that's why she invited you into bed and wanted you to walk close to her.. come on, signs are pretty clear. she feels rejected by you that's why she's like that now more than likely.
