What do women think of teetotalers?

I am a 24 year old guy and am for all intensive purposes a teetotaler. I won´t say no to half a glass of champagne at a birthday party, however that is the extent of how much I will drink.

I come from and live in a rather alcoholic society where all social events are accompanied by alcohol to some degree or another so I am well aware that I stick out like a sore thumb when I am the only one not drinking.

I would like to know what women think of this kind of behavior, would you rather not choose a guy who was a complete teetotaler? Now obviously nobody likes a drunk but I do realize that what I am doing is toward the other extremity and not quite the ´norm´. Is this seen as off putting vs someone who drinks just a bit socially or is it really not as big an issue as I am making it out to be?

It depends on each individual to be honest, but if you're happy that's all that really matters. You should always stick to your values.

I have a lot of friends who aren't big drinkers and I don't think any less of them for it. If a girl has a problem with this aspect of your life, she isn't worth your time. However, I think the only type of girl who will find this a turn off will some type of lush herself, and I get the impression that you wuldn't be attracted to that type of girl.

I live in the UK though I am originally from Eastern Europe, both cultures of heavy drinking.

I thought you have been might be in the UK. I was over there last year and I was surprised at how big drinking is for socialising.
