CULTURE APPROPRIATION?
This little girl had just seen the movie Moana, an exotic Disney story about the lives in the Pacific Islands, and saw a character she admired.
Look how cute she is, dressed up as her idol. But people of the internet just HAD to say something negative.
Culture appropriation was the topic of all this negativity, since the girl is obviously Caucasian, and not from the islands
I mean, C'MON, SHE'S LIKE 6 YEARS OLD. Let the kid live in fantasy and joy,
just see her cute smile and be happy she liked the movie.
It's like I would be mad at karate kid for being a black kid practicing Asian martial arts.
Please stop exaggerating things.
There are unpatriotic acts, chauvinistic acts, and racism,..and this is not one of them
