Im 26 never had a boyfriend, there have been offers but I turn them down. I just don't feel I need one, I have friends but no one really close. I prefer to do things alone, I go abroad on holiday alone.

I don't want children that's my excuse what else are men good for as partners haha

Being 18, I've never had a girlfriend, not that I couldn't have had one. Quite a few wanted to start a relationship with me, but my introvert personality always stands in the way, which is odd, because when I'm around my closest friends, I'm a party animal. That brings me pain because I don't think there are a lot of girls my age that would stand my shyness long enough for me to start showing my true nature =/

I think this is a great article, because people are afraid of rejection. I can really relate too, because I am extremely shy and it is really hard to get close to guys without thinking the worst.

This article was great and it really touched on some good points. I am a 21 year old college student, just by reading this article gave me a sigh of relief, there are times I feel as if I'm not attractive because guys do not approach me but like you said in the article it might not have nothing to do with me, although I am quiet though, I need to work on that.

Your article is very reassuring thank you....I am 23 years old and have never had a boyfriend. The thing with me is that I have a disability called cerebral palsy and and I think that because of this I am a very shy and introverted person and its hard for me to make friends even more talk to a guy that I'm interested in...but anyway thank you for sharing! That was a really good article and thanks for writing it :) The problem with me is I'm 16 and all my friends have boyfriends but I still don't have one. I have suitors and a lot of guys ask me out but I somehow still can't feel ready to have a boyfriend. I mean I'd like to have a boyfriend but I think I'm afraid to be in a relationship. So I just turn everyone down. Also it's sad that I never fell in love. When will I find someone that I will actually love and not the other way around?

A lot of girls feel pressured when they reach their 20s without having any boyfriend. People used to pressure me before. I was nearing 23 and never had one. It's not that I didn't have suitors or that I'm ugly. It's just my choice to stay single until I meet the the right person. I didn't want to fall into a relationship just because of the sake of having one. When you're younger, you will get worried, but try to focus on yourself first so you'll be ready when the right one comes along...

I know I'm not bad looking , an I would like to e in a relationship with someone who gets me but every time I go out with someone they compliment me and than pop up the question to slp with them which is something I wouldn't do this is from men I don't know that much than the people who are attracted to me are like my best friends and I just don't want to ruine the friendship we have built through the years and it would be awkward ids something happens as I see them daily due to school or etc..

I know, I'm ugly but I think its not the reason why I don't have a boyfriend, it's just me. . . This is such a great article. I'm 15 and never had a boyfriend before, while nearly all my friends have had at least 1 or 2! and most of my guy friends have had girlfriends. I know I'm pretty and all that and I believe in my own abilitys and stuff but I still can't get anyone to like me. if I do, its someone I wouldn't want to go out with! so reading this is very reassuring, thanks so much :)

Well they never make me feel any better. I don't want to be 21 and never held hands with guy. I don't want to be 25 before I have a date. I don't want to be 27 before I get my first kiss. I don't want to be 30 before anyone even thinks of marrying me. I have so many friends who are engaged and are getting married soon and so many friends in relationships. I hate my friends who have new guys every night when I would love to just have one guy. I should feel better but I don't, I just want to know

Because girls can't be independent and it's sad. Parents need to teach girls form a very young age to be independent and strong.

Interesting take, I have had just a few in my 21 years of life. Looks had nothing to do with it, but I did have boyfriends before.
