Respect is earned, not given. Who cares what people think or say. If your a guy who wants to be laid nowadays, just be a 'a hole'. If you want a serious relationship, then don't do that. Do the opposite, but don't be a doormat like some people say. Believing in the alpha/beta system is insecurity yet it's written all over in nature. To me that's ignorance. That's like believing there is no way to make money and beat the system in the U. S. Learn about the game/system and beat it.

I disagree on the nerd comment. a lot of nerds are not socially aware because they put much time and effort into whatever they are studying rather than actually being social. Its not a excuse for nerds to claim they are socially inept. many ''nerds'' actually get out of social situations by constantly learning IE There was always that one guy in highschool who was constantly doing work and never had time for friends.

Touché! You got the point. Insecurity could be a good explanation. In my question about this "alpha-beta" ideology (i asked that days before your Take) i'm still waiting for the so proclaimed "alpha" guys to defend their worldview properly

Eh, fuck labels altogether. I find it childish when people past high school ask if others are alpha or beta males, let alone identify themselves as such.

This entire post is an insecurity. I didn't read what you wrote, but you're totally wrong. Alpha male is another word to describe a leader. Believing that there's no leader in today's society and in absolute equality is pure non sense. Grow up and stop trying to convince yourself that you're equal to everybody because you envy those who have leader trait. This world ain't all unicorn and rainbow. Do yourself a favor and accept reality.

Besides, you are confusing alpha male with loosers who want to show everybody that they are successful by saying they are "alpha" because of deep insecurity they hardly try to hide.

alpha and beta males exist. your boss is your alpha male at your job. humans are hierarchical.

your wife or female partner is a beta

the male is the natural beta in the human hierarchy

    the end.

alpha beta isn't based on insecurity its based on science

the government ios your alpha. alpha is simply leader the moderators and owners of this site are the alphas and we are the betas

    how dumb r u

you should go back to science

ppls ideas of alpha and beta now is based on insecurity and bcus of that insecurity has bcom widely known about people arguing whether it does exist or not

it does exist. *your boss is your alpha he is your leader.*

in one sentence I've invalidated ur whole article

Uhm, no you didn't you proved it more. CEOs aren't at the top because they "want to be alpha". They have a burning desire to be their own boss. To lead a company. A leader is not an alpha.

You debunked nothing except your own stupidity.

Our current technological society is not at par with our biological neurological circuitry. I'll continue doing my thing, lead my fate, and be a leader of men. I guess you could call me an alpha by my characteristics?

Some of those stereotypes are incorrect but i recognise that there are certain individuals with charismatic personalities that have a natural leadership mentality

yes but unlike the people who believe in alpha vs beta would want you to believe, leadership is not a quality that someone is born with, no one is born a leader, it is something that people earn. Personalities do change. Some people are shy but then overcome it and become charismatic leaders. I use to be an introvert but now I am very much an extrovert. So that is the flaw of the alpha/beta nonsense because it falsely preaches that people are BORN to be so called alphas and the so called betas will forever be losers. If someone believes in this crap, they most likely suffer with Narcissistic Personality Disorder

i disagree, personality is constantly evolving, it isn't something that is set in stone. if that were the case I would still be a shy introvert and not the more outgoing guy i am today. no one is born a leader, you earn it

@Eric644 personality is generally accepted by mental health experts as being set by the age of 7 and research has been leading them to define that younger, not older.

Introversion isn't synoymous with shyness, either.

then how do you explain people who do change. how do you explain someone like me who has gone from introvert to extrovert. maybe certain things are set at a young age, but not everything. there are some aspects of personality that continue to evolve well into old age

well there is no consensus i guess, but I agree with the psychologists that say personalty can change, i know i have a much higher self esteem now than i did when i was 5 or even 15. I use to be shy and am now outgoing. I know many people who were charming confident people but now are depressed individuals. from my experience and some science that backs it, i can tell you personality can change

@Eric644 Yeah, I can agree that, within the framework of one's core personality, people can adapt somewhat. But, in my opinion, the key to peace is acceptance of oneself.

and don't get me wrong, im not advocating for people hoping that another person can change or that they can change the other person. I think it is possible for a person to change or, in your better term, adapt but they must do it themselves and no one else can do it for them

If you follow the pack you're a Beta. If you lead the pack you're an Alpha.

And I don't why you're comparing humans with wolves in the first place, when humans are actually closer to the system that monkeys use.

Not always a good thing. Example: Trump leads a pack of idiots. No one's impressed by that, especially not women.

Absolutely not a good thing. The most carismatic psychopaths will always have the advantage of being able to sway the dumb masses.

But Trump is not an Alpha. He's actually a Beta who's not bright enough to understand when to shut up. The Alphas are the people behind Trump. And believe me when I say they know what they're doing. You're in luck though. This time your potential president isn't controlled by Israel but by another country. And that's good for everyone on this planet.
