Touché! You got the point. Insecurity could be a good explanation. In my question about this "alpha-beta" ideology (i asked that days before your Take) i'm still waiting for the so proclaimed "alpha" guys to defend their worldview properly
Eh, fuck labels altogether. I find it childish when people past high school ask if others are alpha or beta males, let alone identify themselves as such.

This entire post is an insecurity. I didn't read what you wrote, but you're totally wrong. Alpha male is another word to describe a leader. Believing that there's no leader in today's society and in absolute equality is pure non sense. Grow up and stop trying to convince yourself that you're equal to everybody because you envy those who have leader trait. This world ain't all unicorn and rainbow. Do yourself a favor and accept reality.

Besides, you are confusing alpha male with loosers who want to show everybody that they are successful by saying they are "alpha" because of deep insecurity they hardly try to hide.
alpha and beta males exist. your boss is your alpha male at your job. humans are hierarchical.
your wife or female partner is a beta
the male is the natural beta in the human hierarchy
the end.
alpha beta isn't based on insecurity its based on science
the government ios your alpha. alpha is simply leader the moderators and owners of this site are the alphas and we are the betas

you should go back to science
ppls ideas of alpha and beta now is based on insecurity and bcus of that insecurity has bcom widely known about people arguing whether it does exist or not
it does exist. *your boss is your alpha he is your leader.*
Uhm, no you didn't you proved it more. CEOs aren't at the top because they "want to be alpha". They have a burning desire to be their own boss. To lead a company. A leader is not an alpha.
Our current technological society is not at par with our biological neurological circuitry. I'll continue doing my thing, lead my fate, and be a leader of men. I guess you could call me an alpha by my characteristics?
Some of those stereotypes are incorrect but i recognise that there are certain individuals with charismatic personalities that have a natural leadership mentality
yes but unlike the people who believe in alpha vs beta would want you to believe, leadership is not a quality that someone is born with, no one is born a leader, it is something that people earn. Personalities do change. Some people are shy but then overcome it and become charismatic leaders. I use to be an introvert but now I am very much an extrovert. So that is the flaw of the alpha/beta nonsense because it falsely preaches that people are BORN to be so called alphas and the so called betas will forever be losers. If someone believes in this crap, they most likely suffer with Narcissistic Personality Disorder
i disagree, personality is constantly evolving, it isn't something that is set in stone. if that were the case I would still be a shy introvert and not the more outgoing guy i am today. no one is born a leader, you earn it
@Eric644 personality is generally accepted by mental health experts as being set by the age of 7 and research has been leading them to define that younger, not older.
Introversion isn't synoymous with shyness, either.
@ArtDent then how do you explain people who do change. how do you explain someone like me who has gone from introvert to extrovert. maybe certain things are set at a young age, but not everything. there are some aspects of personality that continue to evolve well into old age
according to researchers at Stanford university, personality can change. Research is actually disproving the once held belief that personality is set in stone
@ArtDent “We found that our personalities can and do change over time — something that was considered improbable until now – and that these personality changes are strongly related to changes in our wellbeing, “ Dr Chris Boyce psychiatrist
@ArtDent well there is no consensus i guess, but I agree with the psychologists that say personalty can change, i know i have a much higher self esteem now than i did when i was 5 or even 15. I use to be shy and am now outgoing. I know many people who were charming confident people but now are depressed individuals. from my experience and some science that backs it, i can tell you personality can change
@Eric644 Yeah, I can agree that, within the framework of one's core personality, people can adapt somewhat. But, in my opinion, the key to peace is acceptance of oneself.
@ArtDent I guess i never thought about it that way, i guess adapt is a better term. but yes accepting oneself is key to growing as a man, totally agree
and don't get me wrong, im not advocating for people hoping that another person can change or that they can change the other person. I think it is possible for a person to change or, in your better term, adapt but they must do it themselves and no one else can do it for them
I'm just gonna assume you mentioned wolves and concluded that there's no such thing as alpha and beta behaviour in humans, and mentioned social constructs somewhere in the take.
The pinterest and horoscope quip cracked me up! Couldn't agree more, it all seems like bs to me and I'm glad I haven't wasted my time believing this stuff.
" If you lead the pack you're an Alpha." Not always a good thing. Example: Trump leads a pack of idiots. No one's impressed by that, especially not women.
Absolutely not a good thing. The most carismatic psychopaths will always have the advantage of being able to sway the dumb masses.
But Trump is not an Alpha. He's actually a Beta who's not bright enough to understand when to shut up. The Alphas are the people behind Trump. And believe me when I say they know what they're doing. You're in luck though. This time your potential president isn't controlled by Israel but by another country. And that's good for everyone on this planet.
Well if you only want an average woman to fallin in love with you and you not to be able to fuck any hot women as you're loyal to her yoru whole life than go for it. I prefer being alpha but each to their own.
Implying I can give a shit what "women" think , I pull em like my first set above 3 deadlifts. But "alpha" really do mean just to do your own thing without caring, Not how much you bench or how big and strong are you
no it doesn't, the alpha concept is just a way for people with NPD to feel better about their shitty personalities. If you feel that you are superior to others or there is a winner vs loser system, you have a personality disorder and need to be locked up
nope, look up Narcissistic Personality Disorder. No normal person feels that they are superior to others, even normal successful people. Narcissistic leaders make the worst leaders because their egomania makes them disliked by other people, they cannot accept constructive criticism because it hurts their fragile egos and hurts their so called sense of superiority over others. So if you feel that you are superior to other people, than you need to go get help because you may be suffering with NPD
@Eric644 . some men are taller. some men are better looking. some men are smarter. if you really are going to deny these basic truthes i suggest that you visit a therapist so they can talk some sense into you.
@Eric644 you are clearly arguing your own argument. i never said anything that one persons life is more valuable than another however if you are really arguing that some people are not genetically superior than others then you are going to have a lot of problems in this life.
taller people are not superior to shorter people, because the tall guy may be a homeless guy that has no education and the short guy could be a doctor or a ceo. The good looking guy could be a criminal with no education and the less good looking guy could be researching a cure for cancer. the fact that you chose physical attributes to determine one;s superiority over others is a sign of NPD
also, i have a college degree and i'm a businessman but that does not make me better than someone else because like other normal people I have a sense of empathy, i can put myself in other people's shoes, something a narcissist is incapable of doing
also, i have a college degree and i'm a businessman but that does not make me better than someone else no because like other normal people I have a sense of empathy, i can put myself in other people's shoes, something a narcissist is incapable of doing
if you say so, id don't feel that im superior to others and i can empathize with other people so that means i don't have narcissism. Your superiority complex actually proves that you have a low self esteem and will not live a happy life. Narcissists actually live unhappy lives
@Eric644 but i am. i can out lift you, i got a better degree than you. its not wrong to know your better at things than others. i even have a big dick.
i dont care honestly if you can out llft me, that really doesn't impress me and that really doesn't impress a lot of people. bragging about dick size just proves you are an insecure narcissist. what makes you say you have a better degree than me, and even if you did, cool shit i still dont feel inferior. the thing is im happy with my life and you are not, because deep inside a narcissist has self esteem issues and is unhappy
@Eric644 again you are arguing against you're own definition of better. im not arguing with you. in fact i agree with you. you however dont know how to read.
dude, look I just don't think it is ok to view oneself as superior than others, now can you say more experienced yes, because experience doesn't mean you are superior than other people, i guess that is a more humble way of saying you have more skill.

Very nice take. When I see some guy puffing about the "alpha" male stuff it makes me think he hasn't yet evolved.
Touché! You got the point. Insecurity could be a good explanation. In my question about this "alpha-beta" ideology (i asked that days before your Take) i'm still waiting for the so proclaimed "alpha" guys to defend their worldview properly
they can't, they just name call him beta and thats it like the pathetic narcissists they are
@Eric644 that's what i have realized of them, not so much of narcisist, but a lack of elaboration to at least apologetically defend their worldview
Eh, fuck labels altogether. I find it childish when people past high school ask if others are alpha or beta males, let alone identify themselves as such.

You debunked nothing except your own stupidity.
go back to highschool ignoramus
alpha is just leader. leader of ANYTHING
the male is the natural \alpha\ i made a spelling mistake

Love your take. I agree 100 percent and have been flamed many times for expressing my views. Have fun reading the comments from the guys.
alphas are queers, betas are queers, im the queerest man alive.
tl;dr
I'm just gonna assume you mentioned wolves and concluded that there's no such thing as alpha and beta behaviour in humans, and mentioned social constructs somewhere in the take.
Great take, I agree, this system is absolute bullshit.
only narcissists believe in this shit
The pinterest and horoscope quip cracked me up! Couldn't agree more, it all seems like bs to me and I'm glad I haven't wasted my time believing this stuff.
If you follow the pack you're a Beta. If you lead the pack you're an Alpha.
And I don't why you're comparing humans with wolves in the first place, when humans are actually closer to the system that monkeys use.
" If you lead the pack you're an Alpha."
Not always a good thing. Example: Trump leads a pack of idiots. No one's impressed by that, especially not women.

Exactly. If there was a thing as an alpha, they wouldn't give a flying shit.
An "alpha" wouldn't care. He is simply being himself.
The truth has been spoken!
It's so fun to troll you guys because it's way too easy and it takes zero effort to stir up a reaction lol
But you can only do that because you're so alpha 😝
@RedAmulet lol 👍😎😜😜
it doesn't change the fact that it still exist. a better example would have been using a primate that we are closely related to.
no it doesn't, the alpha concept is just a way for people with NPD to feel better about their shitty personalities. If you feel that you are superior to others or there is a winner vs loser system, you have a personality disorder and need to be locked up
@Eric644 no it makes you an a human being who is aware of their surroundings.
nope, look up Narcissistic Personality Disorder. No normal person feels that they are superior to others, even normal successful people. @Eric644 you are clearly arguing your own argument. i never said anything that one persons life is more valuable than another however if you are really arguing that some people are not genetically superior than others then you are going to have a lot of problems in this life.

@Eric644 when you say better you're arguing against a definition that only you are using in this conversation.
also, i have a college degree and i'm a businessman but that does not make me better than someone else no because like other normal people I have a sense of empathy, i can put myself in other people's shoes, something a narcissist is incapable of doing
@Eric644 you suffer from projecting.

@Eric644 i dont think my life is more valuable than others, i am better at things than most people though.
"i am better at things than most people though". That is actually one of the statements psychologists use to diagnose NPD
Yes. Guys who brag about how alpha they are make themselves look REALLY unintelligent. It's a major turn off.
