1. The urge to sleep around just to have another notch on their belt

I get it we all have hormones but I don't understand how some men have this goal to travel or even locally have a sex fest before settling down, and then they want a woman who is either a virgin or has had little to no sleeping partners and will crucify a woman who has slept around.

Since I have never been a man I personally can not understand why some guys are willing to pick up random girls off the street as well as long as they are pretty.

2. Players

Most men who sleep around are known as players, but I'm talking about men who are able to juggle more than one woman at a time. Don't men complain that dealing with one woman is difficult enough and that they don't understand them? How are men able to play three or four more women without getting confused?

3. Picking on their friends and gross pranks

As in the way thethey interact with their friends by making fun of them and roasting them. I knew three guys who did this in high school and they were all the best of friends.

The best I can describe this is teasing even though it's all in good fun, from my point of view at first I was a bit surprised, but it's cute once I realized that was their thing.

4. Bromances

Do guys not realize how cute we women think bromances are? They are awesome.

There is something hot about a guy who can joke around without feeling uncomfortable.

5. Catcalling and honking

"I met my husband when he honked at me and yelled hey nice ass!" said no woman ever.

I have heard many points of views on this. I have even heard that guys do it to show off in front of their friends but I have seen men do this alone while sitting down or in their car.

6. Pursuing a woman who tells you that she is a lesbian

Do guys like seeing girls touch each other? I don't understand why men still sexually pursue women after she tells them they are lesbians. I'm pretty sure the definition of lesbian is being sexually attracted to women.

7. Men who think women don't need makeup

There is nothing wrong with preferring women without makeup but don't men realize that there are women who wear so little makeup that it looks natural.

No one needs makeup but makeup can be used in a subtle way. That girl that you think is wearing no makeup is most likely just wearing bb cream or tinted lotion, lipgloss, and mascara. Some women like to wear makeup for fun or for art.

First off: generization much? You're going to get some hate for this comment. Posting this kind of shows you don't have a lot of guy friends. Also, girls do not NEED make up and you kind of even agree. I barely see any difference between the "before and after" picture (isn't it just a different camera filter?), so there is barely any reason to spend money and time to do that amount of make up. Disclaimer: not all men are like that. I'm not. But I've observed and know of those men. Here's what I think...

1. Could be some biological (nature) thing where they spread their seed around. Occurs in nature with deer/bulls, etc.. Guys that do this... do it because they can get away with it. Sex feels good and they don't necessarily bond to the woman typically. More diversity seems better and fun. So they get to feel good, feel masculine, and... the more women they get, the more confident they become and the more women they get! Its a self fulfilling cycle and feels good. It helps to not have any morals or values, or ignore them.

Choosing from "abundance" is a guy thing... to select the best woman if he plans to settle down. Guys who do this get a lot of experience and are more valued by women. Women (in general) are drawn to "socially proven" men who are not a threat but offer rewards, whatever those are. If other women want him, then they want him as well especially if wealthy, attractive, entertaining... think Hugh Hefner, muscians, sports starts, etc..

2. Players: Definition is a little loose. A player to me is someone who has the skills to pickup women and seduce them same night or very quickly, with the sole purpose of sex. They often have routines and processes to do so and share tips with their friend players. You can watch videos on them to see them in action.

"Don't men complain about just one woman" - see that is part of the issue to #1 as well. If a guy is in a committed relationship, he gets the whole woman... the sex (probably), the mood swings, the fears, bitchiness, problems, sickness and healthy... everything. If he's just nailing her stuff every now and they, that is all he sees. It is just the sex, which is all "good, natural" drugs. That is so much easier than a LTR. Loving someone, dealing with their terribly broken heart, childhood wounds, helping them to mature and overcome obstacles, dealing with incompatability... that can be hard. Players or those that just do casual relatioinships don't have to do any of this... they have taken the easy road.

I'd say they have taken the wrong road, although I know why they are doing it.

1&2: Yes you will never understand how the male mind is programmed because your mind is programmed as female. There is a lot of differences, NONE of which are wrong.
All males have the biological drive to mate and "spread their seed" so to speak, it is an inherent animal trait left over from our ancestors. Women have the animal instinct to search for a mate that will produce the best offspring and take care of her. Yes "society" has changed and both sexes have evolved to a degree past the primal instincts, but there is always going to be trace characteristics. Women may not necessarily want to find a guy to "take care of her" as they did eons ago but most do still have the find "the one" drive when looking for a partner.

3&4: Men insult each other and don't mean it, women complement each other and don't mean it. Males (even in the animal kingdom) play around, it creates bonds and shows affection. There is no need to be "fake" and petty because unlike women we do not compare ourselves to our buddies. We have our "Bromances" because our buddies don't judge and criticize us over being who we are, we can be 100% honest about everything without someone getting emotional or "offended". Unlike with women where we have to hide our true selves and have to be guarded with what we say because everything can and will be used against us, or be taken and female filtered and made offensive.

5: "Guys" don't do this... douche bags do this. You will never see a dignified male doing this. It's almost always some dirt bag or ghetto trash. But that being said... the logic behind stems from animal kingdom biology. Women peacock themselves for attention, the male makes her aware that he notices it. Unfortunately in today's society women peacock and then shame males for looking because they have been taught to have a bullshit entitlement complex, where they can say or do whatever they want and expect no consequences. and they play off a false victimhood whenever their actions have consequences.

6. Men are so used to women giving bullshit answers at all attempts to break the ice. A female saying she's gay comes across as one of those, and since women usually give the instant shutdown on 99% of male attempts to talk to them, but also like the chase/attention game. Males have been taught to pursue at the face of adversity.

7. Women don't need makeup, you have just been sold on the idea since childhood by cosmetic companies.

Well for Bromances, a girl can't really understand, connect, and vibe with me like a true bro can in any instance when it's a heat of a moment (non-sexual). Things that happen between bros can seriously offend some girls, and it's just not a place for them unless the girl is on par and considered a bro, but this is highly unlikely. A guy simply calling a girl her bro doesn't mean they are bros, they would have to be comfortable with each other in almost every possible way from making the most raunchiest jokes at each other to letting all their feelings out and getting more than just sympathy and comfort back. 1. I guess I wouldn't say it's exclusive to men, but I don't claim to know all the answers. With myself personally it was a fear of missing out, growing up I was fed that it was amazing and from my experience it hasn't let me down but I don't attempt to force it upon others or gloat about it at all. Even then I'm quite young and don't have a whole ton of experience on that scene. In the case of crucifying women for sleeping around, I agree. It's a wrong double standard that just shouldn't be. 2. I'm fairly sure it's because they don't actually care about any of the women they're fooling around with, if anything it's similar to your first question except they're looking for consistency in quantity.

1. Not really a gender thing, but never been my thing personally. Never slept around for the sake of it or had one night stands.

So the player doesn't really put effort in and confuses shit sometimes, but it works. Ironic isn't it.

1 and 2. This is true, well most guys have this innate feeling, every hot girl I see I want to bang and get with. I think like this and I don't feel guilty for it because there's literally nothing I can do about it or stop it. However... I would never act on it because that's not me. Other guys do it, but depends on the individual. About the virgin thing, some guys want that because of the whole "innocence" thing, but again that depends on the individual and I don't care whether or not the girl I settle down with is a virgin or not.

Bromance and pissing about resembles are very close bond and chemical friendship romance, proximity and emotional strength, the type where we can truly trust and express anything to our bros without giving a shit about public opinion knowing we won't judge each other either, and even the most offensive jokes we take and give we don't actually mean. I'd say the 3rd, 4th, and to an extent the 6th one are common of both genders. Girls pick on their friends all the time, and I'd say past a certain age most men and woman don't do gross pranks, but the small minority that do, are probably pretty equivalent in numbers between genders. Girls have girlfriends who they are close with, men have guy friends, but it's odd to call them guy friends, so they are called bromances, it's really the same thing you guys have.
