now that's actually a very good question.. I prefer to do so because of tradition and culture, actually, but it's more like personal preference and who actually has more money.
Not being emotional can be harmful. I am raised to not show emotions and I have problems with doing so, but it's fucking normal to have emotions and express them, as long as you're not a dick.
Just be yourself regardless of any 'traditional ways' (unless you yourself are a dick)

I think it's nice to do so and I'm not saying a man shouldn't. But not everyone has a lot of money. The two parties should communicate.
I personally have always paid for the first 'official' date, because I could afford it and I just like to do so. But I have not paid for all of them. I'd say I paid 60-70% of them. But the important point is to talk to your date about it.

That's stupid again. Sometimes people are dependent on others and that's normal. That's why we live in a society. Because social beings sometimes depend on each other.

Note - I know, that videogames has also "destroyed" men, who cannot harness it for what it's supposed to be - entertainment medium. Yet there are plenty of freak outs, broken keyboards and virtual lootbox openers out there.

The Funny thing is you say that most girls aren't like that. Most girls, who stopped talking to me was because they asked me for my Instagram and i told them, that i don't have any social media (and suggested instant messaging instead). No response. Literally. Not even after a follow up "hello?".
