My boyfriend broke up with my friend whom I was close to and he started dating me. He claims he never loved my friend and he has stronger feelings for me than her. So I should assume that he would be faithful right? We are together and he practically moved in with me and spends all his time with me not to mention we are co-workers at the same shift. We were all hanging out with my roommate when my boyfriend slapped her ass, groped it for a bit and when she turned around shocked he smirked and said, "Judging by that smirk on your face, you liked it" At first I didn't care and I told him that was disrespectful for my roommate's sake but now that I think more about it, it bothers me that he might cheat on me eventually. What do you guys think?

More than cheating, what he did was truly disrespectful. I mean, he's being offensive and crossing a lot of lines. I wouldn't be surprised if he cheated and I could say he's a potential cheater, definitely. However, even some cheaters are discreet and the may be encouraged to cheat by whatever "solid" reasons, but you don't go around slapping people's asses, groping them and throwing that line. If you weren't eloquent enough this time, it's likely he will see it's no biggie to do it again. I would talk to him about it no matter how awkward it could be and demand some explanation. What was he thinking and how did he expect you to react and what if the roles would have been reversed? If you don't sort this out completely, the thoughts will be pressing your chest and your mind in the future.

But when he was dating my friend he wasn't like this. He really respectful in front of her and behind her back. I didn't think he was a player when I accepted to go out with him. I feel used.

Is it cheating behavior? Well, borderline I think. Tell him how you feel about it. I have a general rule of thumb. If you're SO isn't OK with it, it's cheating (though cheating has various degrees). Tell him how you feel about that.

By the way, my friend's wife recently smacked my ass, but she did so because HER HUSBAND ordered her to (jokingly of course).

See i didn't tell him to do it but i took it as he was joking with her. I didn't really think of it as cheating when he did it but now its starting to sink in and bother me, you know? I really did try to stay away! The feelings just happened. She would invite me to their outings I tried to get out of them but she always convinced me to hang out. She was also treating us both like we were doing something already! We comforted each other and the feelings just grew.

My friend really did tell us to go for it! Even when i tried to get them to fix things they both refused. She really did surprised me because she was the most supportive in us getting together. She told him to go for it and she called me and asked me what was up and I told her up front. She told me to make him happy. Your probably right I knew I was going to be labeled that way by everyone, but I still went for it because it it wasn't meant to be the feelings wouldn't of been there you know? It was her first boyfriend and she just told me to go for it. She wasn't a really bad person and I felt guilty ever since. I think about her a lot since I refused to talk to her after this. How can I? I screwed her over pretty badly. I really do love her as a friend and I wish I still had her friendship. She was those good friends that would take the shirt off her back just to make sure you were happy.

We told her about our feelings on the 29th and we officially started dating on the 3rd of April. I know we rushed it and we fucked up on that but he told me he was ready for a relationship
