I think my crush's friends were making fun of me?

Okay so long story short I liked this guy for a long time, told him I liked him on the last day of school and he rejected me because of his lacross team dedication. He told his friends before that he though I liked him so I bet he told them when I confirmed it. After summer we haven't spoken. I told him I didn't like him anymore.

Today he was walking with his buds. I was with my friend when his buds called us over. One guy asked "would you ever be a cuddle buddy with (insert my friends name here?" I said "Naww sorry Im not like that aha" then he said "what about being a cuddle buddy with (insert other friends name)?" I said again "Nawww sorry I am a loner lolll" Then they said " Well what about (insert crushs name here)?" And I said "ahaaaa nahhh" I heard my (ex?) crush sort of quietly say "pft" lile I was a total liar. His friends said "Well what if he asked? would you?" I just kept denying it. Then his friends said "Well just keep it in mind, ok? Just know the offer is always available. " I said "Okay okay, I'll think about it aha. Byee" and left blushing. My ex? crush looked back at me for a while.

So, were they making fun of me? They are the joking type, but usually they would tell someone if they knew the person had a crush on someone. What do you think I should do?

I thought that too. He is starting to look at me more than usual but you can tell he doesn't like me. How do I go about hating him / forgetting him?

find another crush, that's how you forget him. if there's nobody crush-worthy around... just ignore him, never check if he's looking at you, this only feeds his ego. focus on your hobbies or try new hobbies to get your mind distracted.

Its funny, I got rid of my first crush by crushing on him lol. can't shake this one off though. I am not looking at him anymore and I am paying attention to my musi career. I always have thoughts in my mind though, especially since that cuddling inncidwnt. It made me blush and got me all confused and crushing again.

maybe try shifting your feelings to fictional characters in romantic movies? the characters the writers came up with are always perfect. I remember the first time I watched the notebook, I was smitten by the portrayal of Noah for days.
