Guys, are college basketball girls unattractive?

The uniform is long shorts, high socks and a shirt so it's not exactly "sexy" like spandex and a tight shirt on top.. I myself am a player and I try to be girly because if I don't people with either think I'm a dyke or a lesbian which I'm not.. I just feel like if I'm ever in my practice clothes I get judged for it and its a complete turnoff that a girl isn't playing something girly.. Am i just insane?

I didn't mention but yes I'm still pretty attractive (super athletic, long legs, got a nice face, ect).. I'm just asking if playing a non so girly sport would change your opinion on me

Most basketball girls are very hot, I love sporty girls, and I actually prefer tall girls, but you are right, they should wear shorter shorts and short socks.

Some of the most beautiful and feminine girls I know are basketball players. The uniforms are not sexy but as long as you wear nicer clothes when you're not playing, who cares. It's not like you can practice in dresses and heels.
Also if a girl is fit, it's always a plus, so playing basketball is certainly not a turn-off.

It's tough for me to look at women playing basketball as sexy. Especially when the uniforms are all baggy like men's, clunky ball shoes and tats... no thanks. I can tell when one is cute here an there, but it's tough to look past the total scene. Honestly, when I look at a game on TV for a second I think they're all lesbians. I know that is crap and not true, but it's what comes to mind. Women in baggy sweats on their hips, clunky ball shoes, etc is just a turn off. It does nothing for the natural curves of a woman and masculinizes them.

So, I see your point in trying to be more girly on the court.

I mean I keep my hair long and thick In a ponytail with earrings, I try to wear pink colors, and outside of basketball I'm always dressed my best in cute outfits epecially since I have the body but yeah that's the exact reasons why people (men) usually think we're lesbians which yeah I hoenstly hate that sterotype

I hear ya and I'm sure nearly all women out of a basketball uniform look vastly different. I know that and I am not pigheaded. I'm just coming from that one point-of-view. I know there are many gorgeous women who aren't lesbians who play ball.

Very toned with hourglass figure outside of a uniform and the reason I say this modestly is because I worked for every inch of it

Well I will say that if I saw a woman who fits your description... to that degree, I wouldn't care what she was playing. With more description of the woman (or women), I can form a better answer. You sound quite desirable and I'm sure I would be highly attracted to you as I am attracted to fit women. I like women who know the value of hard athletic work, are committed, and never give up. Like me. I'm NOT perfect and I have had to work VERY hard to get my gains and my level of fitness as I'm a former true skinny-fat. So, I too have dealt with a lot of crappy misconceptions correlating to my appearance and the fact that I look like I'm at least a decade younger than my age.

LOL kinda funny because I just signed up for this site today and I've already had some pretty cool exchanges. Yeah it's tough for me to meet women around my "age". Usually all I meet is women around your age because y'all think I'm your age! It's a blessing and a curse as some freak out when they learn my "age" and women around my age don't take me seriously or they expect more of a "man" for my age i. e. bigger, thicker, older looking. Sucks truly. Sometimes I feel invisible because of this, but I'm totally attractive (said modestly)! I mean, I have women scope me out daily but I'm always not what they think when I meet them. Sigh, it's been 6 years since I separated from my ex and I've met no one of value who'll give me a chance.

I would date a woman your age and have for no more than about two months. It's fine being with the person if they're mature enough. It's being around her friends where it gets kinda annoying. The friends don't really accept you and try to usher her off whenever we're together. That and I always sense a little uneasiness... like they're still thinking about whether I'm too old or not no matter if I look like I'm 24ish myself. I don't know..

I'm open-minded in the age-range thing. Meaning, I've always dated younger women and women older than me as well.

Number one you’re playing a sport because you’re passionate about it not for other reasons number two yes people who are athletic of either gender tend to be more attractive.

Also not all female athletes are lesbians…. Some are.. I’ll say plenty are bi but some are as straight as a arrow. It doesn’t make you not girly because you play a sport.

If someone who doesn’t even know you judges you over playing a sport then they aren’t worth being in your life anyways.

Dont stress it, most guys will understand while you are competing in your sport you might not be "sexy"
But as long as you are not always in that athletic clothing and make yourself sometimes they will see your sexiness

I've done the whole volleyball thing in highschool and hated it including the tennis and swimming and all of which were all short shorts but I guess I can tell the big difference of respect from people

Seeing them dressed like that is unattractive. Those clothes are very unflattering to the female form. The clothes are about function and not looks. I wouldn't judge a girls personality for playing basketball or wearing a uniform, but while she is in it, she isn't looking her best.

I don't think they are any more/less attractive than girls who play any other sport. The uniforms aren't supposed to be "sexy". They only wear those while they are playing so you can see how they really are other times, when they can be "sexy" or "cute" if they want to be.
