36 26 39-Good measurements guys?

unfortunately its a pear shape not hourglass. but is it attractive or am I fat as some of my classmates seem to think? please don't be too harsh I am only 17 and just a bit self conscious like other young girls are at my age? opinions please/

The answer will depend on ur shoulders, if they are equal to ur hips, then you seem like a bottom heavy hourglass, since ur hips measurements is bigger than ur bust.. think of Rihanna, Halle Berry, and Beyonce to some extent.

But if ur shoulders are narrower/sloppy, then you may be a triangle. There are also different types of triangles, depending on ur waist. So if you have sort of a straight waist that protrudes from a certain point to ur hips, then ur like Katherine Heigle or Jenniffer Love Hewitt. But if ur waist is indented, then you are the shape of Mischa Barton and Christina Aguilera

i'm not a guy, but you have the same measurements as me. I think it depends on how tall you are and how much you weigh. I would say I have an hour glass shape, its just I have a round butt with big hips, and I'm 5'10 tall. People often tell me my body shape is ideal. You probably look similar to me and maybe your class mates are jealous and you are insecure.

I know measurements and that sounds attractive. Pears have a nice shape. Please don't worry about it.

That aside, if someone is calling you fat and you're not quite sure if you are or not, as funny as that sounds, just work on being fit. Concentrate on fitness and not weight - just so you don't obsess with diets and weighing scales.

Not to be argumentative, but 36 26 39 IS an hourglass; model material. (Pear shaped would be more like 36 - 40 - 42)

Unfortunately my hips are wide and my back is long so I can promise you that I am not an hourglass very sadly. but thanks anyway. is being a pear a attractive shape as I am getting the impression that it isnt?

Actually, anything beyond a 1-2 inch difference between boobs and butt is technically a pear, although she may look like a mixture of pear and hourglass. 36-40-42 is not a pear because the waist is too big. 36-30-42 would be a pear, though.

Hey girl, you sound like you have a very nice body structure. It’s actually totally considered and hourglass, with a bit of a pear shape. I actually have similar measurements with more of smaller upper body - making me more of a pear shape. But it’s a nice look. Key is when you’re feeling abit shakey - focus on keeping a good posture and get exercise to get a good skin glow and for a clear mind. You’ll feel way better. And honestly I’m in my 30s. If some lame people at school are on you about your body type it’s jealousy, immaturity, or lack of what’s trending in the last 10 years haha (Beyoncé, J lo etc) cheers hun ✌🏽

Sounds like you have a good figure. Being a pear shape is not a bad thing, and you only have 3 inches between your butt and boobs so it's not like you're an 'extreme' pear. You're probably more of a pear/hourglass mixture. Hope this helps!

then people on site can judge whether you are attractive or fat because looks matter as well

I'm the same as you! (except my hips are 39.5) and i have quite broad shoulders! You can make it look hourglass with the right clothes :)
