What does it mean when a guy wears your gift everyday?

For his birthday he asked me to buy him and I a matching necklace. He does have a habit of wanting to match in everyway and often gets excited when we do match.
And now, he wears the necklace every single day and occasionally mentions it even though it's been a month since I gave it to him.
He also mentioned that the necklace means we will be together for life.

Does this mean anything?
