I cannot due to various reasons. (1) I'm a Virgin. (2) I've only known him for like 6 months. (3) if I do give it to him he might run away. he might ignore me. He will think I'm just like any other girl that just gives it up and lastly I will obviously catch feelings and therefore resulting to me looking like a fool. What's your take? Just curious about hearing what you guys have to say. I won't change my decision though

I'm old fashioned. I don't think you should have sex with anyone your not in a relationship with. Him suggesting this just means he wants to "hit it and quit it" doesn't seem like a guy to have a crush on (I know it's something you can't control) hopefully him just wanting you for sex is a turn off and you'll find a more classy guy that wants to get to know you better and date you.

1- you're a virgin... ok, and? you never said why you are a virgin. some people are butt ass ugly. some people wait.

2- 6 months is not that long in the scheme of things, but a lot of things happen in 6 months, especially in friendship development.

3- he might run away... you are worried about something that may or may not happen and the basis for it is in your mind. you immediately brought up worst case scenario. i played sports (my best was track). i was good. however, i always was scared of getting tired and looking like an idiot coming in last or getting hurt, dropping passes or letting up a big play when i played football. i never came in last (usually in top 3) and i never got hurt and rarely had the other 2 happen. but those were worse case scenarios in my head. you immediately think that the dude will just hit and quit on you.

it's called an analogy. the point is still valid. i'm not comparing a sport to sex. i'm comparing perception and reality as 2 different things. what you perceive will happen doesn't translate to what you think will happen. if you want a more direct comparison, if you something more streamline, take a date, then. you wanna ask the person out, but in the back of your head, you think, "what if the guy/girl just straight up chews me out and embarrasses me?"... usually that's not the case and the guy/girl tend to let you off easy or even might say yes. who knows?

and that would've probably helped to know beforehand that he's that kinda dude. I don't know why girls are into guys like that to begin with, but that's a different conversation
