What does he mean when he says he wants a lowkey relationship?

I just recently told this guy all of my feelings for him and he said he feels the same. The only problem is he thinks if we become a couple we will break up and he'll lose me as a best friend. He said he likes me a lot but just wants to wait a little bit. Then he said he wanted a lowkey thing where we both like each other but we aren't titled as dating... What does this mean?

The impression that I get is that he wants all of the benefits of a relationship, without telling anybody about you.

And like what does this mean? What should I do?

Well if this is the case then maybe he isn't the right person for you. Do you really want to have a boyfriend that won't tell everybody about you? He should be proud to have you as his girlfriend, instead it would appear that he isn't.

But perhaps he just isn't ready for a relationship... He did just get dumped a coulee weeks ago

I agree that he's clearly not ready for a relationship. If he got dumped a few weeks ago then you are the rebound girl. He can't commit to you if he is still upset about his ex girlfriend.

Perhaps you could put things on hold with him for a couple of months to give him time to get over his ex girlfriend. If he likes you at all then he will be happy to do so.

Okay cool! Thanks. I mean while he was dating his ex he told me that before her he liked me and the only reason he didn't say anything was because he thought I would reject him but in all reality I liked him 😂 Why does having a crush on your best friend have to be so confusing? Lol 😂

All dating can be confusing, sometimes you feel like banging your head against the wall haha. It sounds like he does like you, just give him some time and maybe he will come round :)
