Just block him and ignore him. That is just very immature and he has nothing else better to do. It sounds more so of obsession than liking you genuinely. If he can't even explain this behavior to you yet he claim he doesn't have feelings for you, let him go and don't even be friends with him. But at the same time, understand that just because somebody likes you, it doesn't mean that they want to date you or go out with you. Maybe he just likes you as a really close friend and copies you because he wants to be you.
