Guy in my class stares at me?

There is this guy in my class and he always sits in the front rows, I always sit at the back. I've noticed a couple of times that he would turn around for minutes at a time to stare at me. And I mean stare! He doesn't frown, he doesn't smile, his face doesn't "say" anything at all. I have no clue what his endgame is... We haven't talked much, he is even avoiding me as far as I can tell. I'm not ugly but I'm not the prettiest girl in class either. What could this mean!? Is this some kind of mind game?

Hm... Talk to him, tell him he looks familiar. Maybe he thinks he knows you, but he's too shy to ask. I once met a girl in my driver's ed class and couldn't place where I knew her, so I kept looking over at her. The girl who decided I was a freak really did turn out to be a long lost cousin. You never know.

He's probably attracted to you. If you like him back though, be careful because he may have a girlfriend already and that's why he only stares. That happened to me before.

I do, but I usually lose... I just hate this somewhat unwanted attention, it makes me feel awkward. I'm afraid that he's enjoying seeing how uncomfortable it makes me feel, that this is some kind of game to him..

Nope, I can rule that out. He is definitely looking at me (desks are quite far apart, so no chance that he is looking at my neighbor, and there is no clock above my head)... Trust me, I checked.
