What does it mean when a guy calls you on No Caller ID twice in a row at 2:31 and 2:32 in the morning?

Last night I went to sleep at almost 2am and then apparently my ex called me on No Caller ID twice in a row right after 2:30am. I mean, it's during those hours so it sounds like it would be sexual. But tonight we were talking about it and he said "I just wanted to talk to you!" And I said "I was sleeping. I went to sleep at about 2am" and in my head I thought "really? 'Just wanted to talk to me' at 2:30 in the morning?"

He probably called you on private number, just in case you didn't answer for whatever reason. So he wouldn't look like a dick, if you didn't know it was him.
I could be wrong, he seems like he might be missing you.

If you don't want people calling at the time of night, it might be wise to, either turn your phone on silent, or off.

its not he didn't want you to answer, more he thought you were going to answer, by showing his number. I am not sure, how likely he is missing, I am just assuming. He could be missing you, or he could have another motive. Or maybe just wanted to chat. Its best not overthink think it. Just play a long with it for now, and see what he does. His actions over time will tell you more.
