If a guy asks you to a dance does he like you?

One of my guy friends asked me to the winter formal coming up at my school. He said "Wondering if you would let me take you to the dance?" I said yes:) but does this mean he likes me or he just wants to go as friends?

He asked you, so at the very least means he's interested

It's likely an opening to consider yourselves as more than just friends. You can always ask :)
