Do guys really mind a small pooch on the stomach?

I had a child 14 years ago. I have fought that baby pooch so very long. It's not big but I feel so insecure about it. To make it worse I have horrible stretch marks to. I'm very pale so it looks worse. I totally hate the way I look, my husband says it's okay. I think he just says that to keep me from going insane! I'm not fat, not skinny. Just 10 lbs too heavy. Trying to get rid of that. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. For the guys out there, it's hard on us women with all the tv and ad's. I try hard to not get into that, but it's hard.

Actually no not really. If you watch closely guys actually do go for women who are a little overweight. We call then thick women. Maria Carey, Anna nicole smith, Maria shriver, what Kristy Alley used to look like on Cheers. I had a crush on her back then. Guys really go for this look and not just black guys white guys to. I think Maria carrey is realy good looking. Jessica simpson is just too thin. Jennifer Anderson and Cortney Cox very good looking but very thin. If you are 10 to 30 pounds over your ideal weight; your supposed to be 125 and your 155 or 145 that can actualy look good. Now once you start going over 30 pounds then you run into trouble. Girls getting close to 180 when there 5 foot 6. This may be a problem 170 might even be to much for some guys. But despite popular belief you have a 10 to 30 pound gap before it starts to look bad. But remember if you are 5 foot 9 and a women your ideal weight should be around 130. So if you are in the 150ies a lot of guys will like your look. Shoot into the 160ies and it may hurt your chances. Let me know if this helped. By the way if your 6 feet tall then 160ies is fine.

See I have mixed feelings on this. Since you're married, I would assume that since you are the mother of your husband's child he would be accepting of it because he is in a way responsible for it.

If you were single, I don't think I would go for it because I don't date women that have children with other men.

If you were my spouse, and it seems like you are a decent woman who wants to look good for her man, I would just want you to be happy. It seems that you don't like it so I would offer whatever it took to get rid of it or make it more appealing for you. If you need plastic surgery, liposuction, etc. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Don't take my answer to heart though. This is just my opinion.

I don't think guys mind if they truly care about you. I know some actually think a little stomach fat is really cute. My boyfriend knows I'm self conscious about the little fat I have on my stomach. He actually kisses it, tells me its cute and says he actually like it. It doesn't seem like he's lying about what he says though. I guess if someone loves you enough they don't care about your imperfections. Everything is perfect to them :)
