My boyfriend’s texts are getting shorter, and less interesting. Is he losing interest?

A few days ago we had a conversation about the texting, he said that he felt like he wasn’t showing how much he loved me if his texts were short and the replies weren’t quick. We both agreed that texting is just texting and what really matters is when we see each other in person, and he likes to hear from me throughout the day.

Although lately that that doesn’t seem to be the case. Today I noticed he’s sort of not responsive in his texts and they’re all short so far and it has been me mostly saying things. He doesn’t have any problems or anything stressing him out as of now that I know of, and his real life interactions with me today at school were perfectly fine like normal. I don’t understand what happened over the texting though, he wasn’t really a good texted when we were only friends but he got SO much better and just recently he’s dying down a bit. To be fair I have been feeling a little disconnected and distant from him lately but it’s provably just me because I’m a girl and I tend to overthink.

What at should I do here? I asked him if anything is wrong cuz he seems down. I just wanna make sure he’s okay. Should I act distant back?

His response to my text “everything okay? You seem a little down” He said “no I’m good but I am a little down I don’t know why”

What should I do about this also?

Maybe he is just not a good texter
You can talk to him about and ask him that you feel distant from him lately is there something wrong.. maybe something is stressing him out and you don't know. My point is you should talk to him about it to know.. communication is the key

Most guys don’t like texting if they are already secure in the relationship. Sort of like you would not like shopping for shoes if you already have all the shoes you want.
