I just want to know the difference because he said but only reason he was ever nice to me was because we work together. I want to know if he actually goes out his way for me because he cares or because he's just a nice Co worker.

couples signs I've gotten that he turely cared about me was when he sees me smoking and gets upset at me for it and when I told him my manger threatened to sack me, he looked kinda gutted about it. I know it sounds bad but sometimes I smoke just to see if he cares.

He smokes on a occasion as well by the way so he's being a bit hypocritical when telling me off for doing the same as him

You catch him gazing at you from a far or... up close tbh. You catch him finding many excuses to talk to you, making space in his schedule to talk to u. He’ll lean towards you when your talking. He’ll defend you to others almost every time. He’ll act different around you than with his other friends. His friends will act weird around you, like giggle and egg him on and stuff

I'm concerned for some of my co-workers health but it's not that I like them like that it's just being a general caring person. You can see if it's JUST you he makes those concerns about or if there's others. You could tell him you like that he cares to see what he does. If you like the man tell him verbally.

Tbh just test it... Have a convo about going out on a Friday. And ask him his plans.. then tell him you were gonna hang out but your having a bad day, if he gives up his plans to hang out with you then you would know for 100% that he's into you.

It’s not just the smoking. Some people just have strong opinions on smoking. Look for things that he doesn’t do for anyone else at work. Also, look for him going out of his way to help or assist.

I guess my point is if more guys were confident and learnt how to approach and attract girls, they wouldn't need to rely on signs from girls who like them and they could be more in control of their dating life. They could choose who to be in a relationship with rather than settling because they'd have more options.

@VIVANT you can't truly know if someone likes you. All the more reason not to give a shit about signs. You can't sway someone in 5 secs from your looks or a cheesy pickup line. They key is too keep them interested enough for long enough to spend time with them and gradually escalate the flirting getting touchy, kissing etc.

Also if you approach a stranger in the street you might only have a few seconds before you miss your chance. So I'm short, don't worry about if they like you and just go for it! That way you rob your brain of time to think of reasons not to approach and you go in fearless (initially at least).

He'll go out of his way to see you during the day if he can (walk by your office/workspace/etc.). He'll offer to help you with projects or work-related stuff. He'll look at you frequently, especially when you're talking. He'll laugh at your jokes or tell you some of his. Most importantly, if you say you need to talk about something, he will drop whatever he is doing and listen. I'm just listing stuff I do with my coworker than I'm interested in. I'm probably leaving some stuff out.
