Guys, if you offer to pay for lunch / dinner with a girl, does that mean anything?

There’s this guy who’s asked me out for lunch or dinner and he’s said it’ll be ‘his treat’. He’s not a close friend of mine, but I get the feeling he likes me. Guys, when you offer to go out with a girl and pay, is that indicating it’s a date, or is it simply friendly?

Depends on the guy, my parents raised me to always pay so it's a habit of mine regardless of personal feelings usually. Other guys may be looking for more

It simply means that he's attracted to you in a friendly way and expects dates like these with you in future. Don't worry, it's a guy code of thing. You will get used to it.
