He didn't try sleep with me- a sign of interest?

I met this guy not long back when I was out (he was a friend of a friend) and I'm not the one who usually falls for someone easily, but this guy was my dream guy, from a first impression way. Anyways not wanting the night to end I went back to his (parents) house (since he was up visiting them). It was a great night, we got along really well, and I was more impressed that he didn't try anything, and we just made out all night. However, I was wondering could that be for many reasons or is that a good sign, in that he might of been interested in more than that? I know its hard to judge when we just met, but most guys I'm used to at least try, or want to.

theres a few reasons I thought one being maybe that we'd both had a few too many drinks?

Or maybe something to do with him? But I'm not really sure.

Maybe he feels about you the same way? Believe it or not some guys (including myself) would rather spend the whole night making out or having a deep conversation together instead of a sex, in early stages of dating, especially if it's the first day. So most likely he is interested in you. But you should go ahead and ask him if he feels for you the same way. Talk to him. Don't be afraid to be direct -- especially since he is your dream guy. It's worth it - (risk vs reward).

Yea this is true, and I hope it was because he was interested. However ( I didn't mention this in my question) but I added him to facebook a couple days later, as he didn't get my number, and he accepted me but never wrote anything to me. I don't like chasing too much and figured if he really was interested wouldn't he write something to me? so I'm just like maybe he's just not that into me, even though I'm dying to write to him but can't because I think the balls in his court?

Well it could be the fact that you went to his parents house, most guys if don't they still live at home won't bring a girl back to their parents house to sleep with her. He might bring her back to meet his parents but sleeping in that situation prob won't happen unless he still lives there.
